Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

this one fits both the Sephora collection and N for nourishing. Sephora collection nourishing and soothing face mask. I'm not sure but I know I liked this mask in the past, however, this experience was blah 🤨 the scent was nice and soothing and i did enjoy the minimal amount of serum... very minimal, like the sheet itself fit great was thin as I like, but honestly felt dry! I don't think it was supposed to be this dry feeling,,, hopefully I have another to compare it it's just an older one, but booooooooooo 👻

@lmaster   It'd be interesting to know if its drier because it's older - there are a few masks I've wondered that about too. Too bad it was a "blah" experience this time around!

I know @Shosh85 I was very disappointed, I knew it was literally soaked with serum the first time I tried it

This mask was mostly N for No. My lovely friend gifted me two of these, but I opened it and the alcohol smell hit me. It did not stick on my chin well- kept lifting off, and ended up drying out.  Did it moisturize?  Um...undetermined.  there are so many better ones out there, this one is a pass.

@l8totheparty  An alcohol smell is definitely not my favorite either! I feel like I've been pretty underwhelmed by most/all the TM masks I've tried so far 😐 Sorry to hear this one was disappointing 🙁

I remember when sheet masks first started hitting Sephora and tony moly was one of the few brands that were carried. I tried a couple and was underwhelmed which turned me off to sheet masks for a while! Sorry this one didn’t work for yah @l8totheparty

Last night's weirdo mask

The idea of this mask sounds nice... it's a two piece mask (nose & eyes, then jaw & cheeks) with jojoba oil, almond oil, and chamomile. I didn't super love it but i didn't hate it either. I think it's just... different?

So the mask doesn't really have an "essence" like i'm used to. It's definitely oil based which was just a different sensation. The fit was way too small. I had probably an inch and a half around my whole face that wasn't covered. Overall, just eh. Probably 3 out of 10 stars. My skin felt a little dry this morning. I don't think i would use this one again

@scott1201 I don't care much for an oil serum either, some have been ok that I've tried, but I think at least I would be better suited for this type when it's -55 degrees 😆

@scott1201 That definitely sounds too small! I tried a mask that was that small once and had to look at the packaging just to make sure I didn't grab a kids mask by accident. Haha! I've always been tempted to buy these, but haven't pulled the plug because the reviews haven't sounded too great. Sorry this was only a 3 outta 10 🙁
