Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

I’m still working with the Neogen @Anonymous. I’ve been trying it with a few serums/toners/ moisturizers and am hoping to post for “N” week😉

@eshoe  Wow, I'm really curious about that lemon powder now! The sheet mask also sounds very nice. I've never used a mask with a strap!

I’ve been interested in the powder for awhile now @PrettyPaint. Sephora didn’t sell it for awhile and I haven’t been ordering from too many sites recently, so I was excited to see they carry it now.

i have a lot of playing around with it to do, but I like the fact that I’m adding vitamin C to my routine without the scent that it tends to display in serums😉

@eshoe  I'll be looking forward to hearing about your continued thoughts about the powder. I've heard that vitamin C serums sometimes go off/change color quickly, so I'll be curious to see if this seems to have increased longevity or shelf life!

I’ve heard that too, @PrettyPaint. I’m thankful the jar is dark in color, I’ve been storing it in a cabinet until I clear out some room in my mini fridge. I know I will forget about it if it’s in the kitchen fridge!

i tried it again last night with the Inkey List HA serum and there was zero grainy-ness, so what you mix it with matters. I’m not looking for extra exfoliation as I’ve been upping the acids lately.

Thanks so much for the update @eshoe. That's great that they put it in a dark bottle. I have some of the HA inkey serum, so that's good to know! I'm not always the best at knowing which products are good to mix and which acids can be combined, so this is helpful! 🙂

It’s a great little experiment @faeriegirl, you use such a small amount that it should last through many. We’ll see!

Will be interested in hearing your thoughts on how this Neogen Vit C powder compares with the other ones you've tried @eshoe. Which other(s) have you tried? Fresh?

So far I’ve tried the Fresh and the Masqueology, @itsfi. I just blended the Neogen with the The INKEY List Hyaluronic Acid (HA) Hydrating Face Serum 1 oz/ 30 mL and there was zero grainy-ness; in fact it was a very smooth application. So far the most pleasant, and good as I exfoliated earlier in my masking tonight. 

I’m guessing you’ve tried it as well? Do you have a favorite blend/mix for it?

@eshoe, I had a foil of the Neogen Vitamin C. I really like the formula - having such a stable form of Vit C is very nice. Eminence Organic makes a rosehip Triple C + E Oil that I'm quite fond of (I'm not fond of the pricing on it though). I've combined the Neogen Vit C and The Ordinary rosehip seed oil - that's probably one of my favorite blends.

Thank you for the tip, @itsfi, I haven’t blended it with an oil yet so I will try that soon. I haven’t been using oils as of late thanks to the heat but it’s starting to cool off, yay!

@eshoe Sounds like a fun masking session! Glad to hear the Face Shop mask turned out great despite having to abort the chin strap. I have a feeling I wouldn't end up liking the strap either 

I'll be super interested in reading your thoughts on the Neogen after you've had more time to play with it! I've been curious about that one! 😃

I’m very curious about the Neogen too, @Shosh85. I haven’t noticed much of any immediate brightening effects, but I don’t know if this is a product that gives results over time...which is why I’m holding out on results🤷🏻‍♀️ 

Forgot to mention that while it Ole it looks like a finely milled powder, it does feels a bit grainy on my skin, similar to the AP Enzyme Powder.

Doing some catch up here. I used the meet up mask a few days earlier for a Watermelon Wednesday, but depending on what my skin’s needs may be, I might use the Look At Me Watermelon Face Mask again tomorrow.  Wednesday’s L was for Look At Me and some goodies that I received from the always generous and lovely @Shosh85  and @Tamara76  – thank you ladies. These treats were a such wonderful surprises and but even better has been your friendship. Thank you for your goodness to me and countless others. ❤️ ❤️
