Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Spoiler

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe
Remove clay/difficult masks in the shower to keep towel clean and removal easy	itsfi/BIC

Nice rose-themed masking, @l8totheparty! I saw that Sara Happ lip scrub set and it looked sooooooo good. I'm a bit jealous! I prefer the pots over the tubes of the scrub, much more exfoliating. But it depends on what you are going after - the scents are always yummy 🙂

Sounds like a nice lip scrub. Did it have sugar granules? How would you compare it to other lip scrubs @l8totheparty?

It did have sugar granules and was therefore tasty. Lol

I is for I am finally done with the Papa recipe masks😅

I had originally planned on using the bombee ginseng red honey oil mask pack but when I opened it I immediately knew it was a no go. It smelled horrible. There was no way I could tough it out so it went into the garbage. So I ended up using the  bombee black honey mask pack.

This one is a black sheet that had a nice honey scent. The fit was ok everywhere except the forehead. It didn’t have as much serum as the other masks. I left it on for 25 minutes and there was barely any left to massage in. It was pretty tacky at first but absorbed after about 10 minutes. My face did feel hydrated and soft. I wouldn’t repurchase this one only because I like others in this line better. My ranking for the ones I’ve tried are

1- Honey

2- Rose gold honey 

3- Whitening honey 

4- Buttercream honey

5- Black honey

6- Red ginseng oil honey

@faeriegirl  Thanks for the ranking! That's really helpful. Sorry the scent on the ginseng red honey oil mask was so bad. Was it just too strongly scented, or did it actually smell gross? Just curious because I've been wanting to try out the brand.

Sorry the ginseng scented one didn’t agree with you @faeriegirl. I liked the mask but completely understand it’s not a scent that is loved by all. You should try out the green honey mask if you are able to get your hands on it. It would be interesting to see where it falls for you in your rankings.

Wow thanks for the run down on your favorites from this line, @faeriegirl! Some ginseng scents, I've found at least, are way too overpowering and earthy. Sorry that was a bust, glad you had a back up in mind.

@faeriegirl The Ginseng one is the only one I haven't tried/bought because I heard the scent might be strong - sorry to hear you didn't like it either. I'm happy this black honey one had nice scent! Nice job getting through all these!

Have you tried the green honey one? I've been super curious to try it. 🤗

I read on Bustle that the lip mask will launch September 10 online at Sephora and the Farsali website for $20. It's said to smell like cupcakes!!! Ohhhh yeaaaah, I'm definitely gonna need this. 😉
