Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface

@ShortErica Sounds like a winner! I'm happy you enjoyed this one - it's my favorite out of the 3! I was so happy to find a box..... and it wasn't close to being expired either 😂 I agree though, I kinda expected it to brighten just a bit more. What did you think of the scent?

It was really light (citrusish, right?) and then I didn't notice it @Shosh85. What vibes did you get from it?

@ShortErica It did have a citrusy scent, but it wasn't a true citrus scent to me - something just seemed a little off. It wasn't bad or good - sorta just "meh."  It was pretty light though and barely noticeable to me while the mask was on. I was just curious what others thought about it 😉

I'll definitely need to pay more attention next time @Shosh85. But yes, definitely didn't smell much while wearing which is what I like.

Letter of the Week: “I” -  A'pieu ICING Sweet Bar Sheet Mask (Watermelon)

This past monday I received some amazing unicorn mail from the generous  ! I have been working crazy hours at the office (late night filings and research) so have had very little time to pamper myself and get some good sheet masking in. Luckily for me  sent some amazing masks my way to test out ! 
So, for this week I decided to try the A'pieu Sweet Bar Sheet Mask (Watermelon) which was part of the unicorn gift!

First off, the packaging is absolutely adorable ! I believe I have only tried one mask from A'pieu (the banana one a few years ago). Right as I opened the package I got this whiff of watermelon sour patch... so yummy!!! I am a gummy lover (have been trying to be good and stay away) so this was the perfect way to get my "fix". Anyways I put the mask on and while it was a little to large I made it work. There was just enough serum on the mask and while I usually like having a little extra to massage on halfway through on the places where the mask dries, up I didn't mind the lack of extra serum. 
I left the mask on for about 30 minutes and my skin felt a little tacky for about five minutes but there was no long lasting tackiness which is a plus in my book.
Overall I would give this mask an A! Loved the results and the scent but it definitly made me crave some gummies so users beware!!! 😉

@m3rc3d3s I actually just bought a box of these! They are wonderful and the scent is my favorite part! So happy you enjoyed it! I would say it smells more like a watermelon jolly rancher, but I feel like I need to do another sniff test soon. 😂 Any candy scent is fine by me 😋🍭🍬

Week 35 - Aug 26 - Sept 1 - I - Favorites Week

So I know Yadah is one of my favorite brands (probably you guys do too 😉 ) so I decided to bust into the Yadah jelly. The Revitalizing one was gifted to me in unicorn mail from @missjeanie @lmaster @Shosh85

I was worried that the jelly might not be evenly distributed, so I applied the extra on top on my nose and cheek area. With this addition, I was able to wear it for 40 minutes. Even after removing there was lots of jelly to rub in. And it took a while to absorb. It was a bit tacky and stayed tacky for an hour after removal.

There was a scent, kinda typical mask but something more, and in an off kind of way. Looking at the ingredients I'm wondering if it could be the cocoa giving it a bitter smell. It wasn't bad but wasn't pleasant.

Grade: B+. I guess my expectations were a bit high. I liked that the jelly stayed put and I got a good wear time. The mask had a pretty good fit for my face. The smell and tackiness are what mark it down for me. Although B+, I will more than happily use the others. Perhaps 2nd or 3rd time will be the charm to make me love it more. I am curious to try the others and have them set out for this week.

I think for me the big thing was my love of slimy masks @ShortErica !  Something about the jelly texture!  Glad it wasn't a total thumbs down for you, but we may have also hyped it up too much lol

I know @eshoe. There was a time I was a bit distraught at finding no Yadah jelly masks. But dang does BIC have your back - I'm so lucky 3 lovely ladies thought to send some my way!
