Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

June: Bawdy Butt Mask Month. Let's try all four masks, one a Saturday (Thank you @faeriegirl!) On the 22nd we will also be trying out a Yadah mask - your pick, thanks to @ShortErica. 
July: @lmaster suggested a Crème Shop Sanrio Mask for our July 6th meetup, and you all voted for the My Melody Softer Than Cookies.

I love this one too, @lmaster! Didn't catch the lavender so now I need to go back and try it again, and see what I come up with. Such a comfy mask, a no-brainer for some excellent hydration!

Week 33 - Aug 12 - 18 - G - Sheet Mask

@missjeanie sent me some gold gel eye masks and I thought the double G was appropriate for this week - thank you!

4 pieces so I got to use them today and will get to use them again!

I'll admit I think I'm really biased toward the Skyn Iceland eye gels. These ones adhered but just not quite to the level of the Skyn Iceland ones. When I applied them I almost felt a heat but not a burn. But touching them on the outside, they felt cool. Interesting... I really loved that the directions said to wear them for 20 minutes. It always seems a waste when it is only a 10-minute process. Yes, sometimes quick can be nice but I want to enjoy the product and have the ingredients do their thing.

Because these are aimed at dark circles and puffy eyes, I don't think I'm their target audience. They definitely brightened some under the eye but didn't help very much with fine lines which is my main concern. I'm curious to try them again and will grade them after round 2. Maybe I'll take before and after under eye pictures. 🙂

Like @PrettyPaint I unblessed with perma under eye area. Always have. I think I’ve seen these at Walmart too, in their 2 for 5 rack. I’ll pick up a pair and test them out.

Gold gels definitely works for G week! It's nice to hear they seemed to help with brightness, @ShortErica.

@ShortErica  They look nice and big! Not like some that are so tiny. It’s good they improved a little. Too bad they don’t help with fine lines. Do you have a fav for fine lines?? That’s my main concern too

If I oversmile, I feel like my eyes look puffy @PrettyPaint but I've had that since childhood. It's those little lines that I'm hoping will not get deeper that drive me crazy! I'll have to see what day my eyes need help the most. It might be Saturday since it will be a long but fun day.
