The combination worked out well @ShortErica; not sure it was extreme though. I had originally planned on using these masks when the monthly meet up was originally scheduled for multi-masking week and just moved it a week later with the change in the meet up date.
Yeah, it'll be an interesting experiment to see if there the new Biobelle masks have the Tencel designation on the front of the packet.
Ah, then that makes way more sense that you had so many peach masks lined up @itsfi. I know some of us have big stashes but that many peach items was impressive.
@itsfi - I love things that smell like peaches. Does the lip balm have a peach scent?
@nuinui933, sadly, the Laneige peach lip balm does not smell like peaches. 😞 It doesn't have a scent as far as I can tell, which is better than having a bad scent, but it definitely would have been nice if it smelled like peaches!
Very very interesting!! @itsfi I think I'll have to join you in this research 😉
Yes, join me @lmaster; it'll make for better research! 😉
@lmaster I got them from Kohl's and Ulta and I have given some out, so I'm not sure which is which. The only ones from the new line that say tencel on the packaging are the non-fruity ones (Rose All Day and Vitamin Sea)
Friday night’s masking included a mask for each of the challenge themes, with my blind pick coming from a bag I filled with several DS hair mask packets and my homage to the letter of the week (F) being a repeat from earlier last month.
Soo’AE Argan Oil Moisture Repair Hair Mask was a gift from @faeriegirl – thank you! 🙂 Argan oil tends to be too heavy for my now shoulder length hair. I decided to concentrate the product just on the ends and length, avoiding my crown and scalp so as to not weigh it down. The hair mask is alright; it works nicely as a detangler and my hair felt soft after rinsing it out.
Fascy Tina Aqua mask, a fruit-and-floral scented, watery essence-soaked cellulose sheet mask touting anti-aging benefits with a long list of good-for-your-skin ingredients, including glacial water. The first time I used this mask it was near the beginning of summer and warm-ish and one of my observations was that this mask might be better-suited for the winter months. It’s not winter here but it’s definitely less warm and feels more like autumn may arrive sooner than expected and my skin felt refreshed and liked the hydration this mask gave. This one feels like it might be a good choice for a week-long daily sheet masking routine in cold, winter weather. Things can change, but right now, I think I may set aside the rest of these masks to keep that as an option.
@divaknits, that’s so nice of @Weetart. 😃 The Aqua mask is definitely one that will infuse a good amount of hydration to your skin. I’ll keep an eye out for your post on it when the weather cools down.
@itsfi I didn't even know Soo'AE made hairmasks! Argan oil is a little too heavy for my hair type too, but I know it has worked well for others.
The results from the Aqua mask sound nice- like a reliable hydration mask. If you go for the week long winter masking, I'll be very interested to know how it turns out.... but I guess it'll be awhile before winter comes 😉
@Shosh85, I didn't know either; I didn't know the brand Soo'AE existed until this year, maybe last. Will keep you posted on winter masking with the aqua mask. Yeah, it'll be a while before winter gets here; well, maybe. Who knows with the way the weather works these days. It's starting to get cooler which is a little odd because we tend to have late summers in the city, with it getting really warm in September and early October.
@itsfi I just love the sounds of glacier water,,idk I always feel like it should have a cooling effect 😂
Me too @lmaster! Glacial water just sounds so perfect for summer days and nights when you need a cooling refresher for your skin! 🙂
@itsfi That Fascy mask does sound very nice for the winter. The packaging is very cute - I've never seen this brand before.
@PrettyPaint, it could be a very good source of hydration for dry skin in the winter months; will have to try to remember to test that out later in the year. 🙂 I found a box of 10 of this mask at TJ Maxx when I was out of town; there were other varieties from the line but I didn't have much extra room so I went with this one.
Friend passed on Friday. Will masking cover the sadness? No just the wrinkles?
I quite liked the Tony Moly! It's probably the hyaluronic acid I like so much in it. My skin felt plump and moisturized and the mask was not too small. This was one of the masks gifted by a friend, sweet of her.
P.S. apparently Sephora caps PMs. Who knew!?
I'm so sorry for your loss, @l8totheparty. Love and light to you!
So sorry for your loss @l8totheparty , hugs.
