Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

C is for Cucumber 🥒 the face mask was gifted to me by the wonderful @itsfi  😃

SEPHORA Cucumber Eye Mask

These are biocellulose under eye masks that have plenty of serum and smell like fresh cucumber. They are comfortable to wear and stay put ok, but even better after they've dried just a bit. I left them on for about 15 minutes. After I removed them my skin felt refreshed and left my under eyes feeling very soft and smooth. I didn't have much puffiness this time, but have used it before when I have, and it really does make a difference for that, especially after chilling in the fridge a bit 👍

Aritaum Cucumber Mask

This is a super thin and transparent cotton sheet mask that was drenched, but not dripping with serum. The scent was neither good or bad to me, just kind of "meh" - it sort of smelled like a signature sheet mask scent with a hint of cucumbers. The fit was ok - just a tiny bit wide at the temples and slightly too long at the chin. It adhered very well and was comfortable to wear the 30 minutes I had it on. When I removed it there was only a little serum leftover that was just slightly tacky but absorbed very quick. My face looked noticeably brighter and clearer, and my skin felt refreshed, hydrated and even had a nice glow.

This is a great mask with some awesome results and would probably use it again just not repurchase, mostly because the scent wasn't super enjoyable to me.

@ShortErica  Haha! These were both the same thickness. I've only had that happened to me once! I was a little surprised yours was like that too - I guess they're just cut wrong sometimes 🤔🤷‍♀️

It was really interesting @Shosh85. Glad it seems to be fluke though and that you've only had it happen once. I'll have to try again to see if my batting average goes down to .500

@Shosh85, those Sephora cucumber eye masks feel so nice coming out of the fridge. Refreshing and soothing. Oh so sorry to hear about the scent on the sheet mask. Maybe another ‘flavor’, one without a scent, would be better for you.

@itsfi The scent wasn't bad, just not what I was expecting. I guess I was thinking it'd smell more like the Sephora eye masks. No scent is better than a bad one, but I do like masks with a scent, as long as they're good! Haha! Sometimes I wish my nose wasn't so picky. I feel like I became more sensitive to smell after having babies..... they definitely messed me up 😂😆🤣

C is for Cell. Missha pomegranate cell sheet mask. It’s a lightweight mask, with just enough serum for 20 minutes. Had a little tingle, and definitely gave my skin a bright even look and felt very refreshing. Nice pomegranate scent that wasn’t overwhelming, just there. Great morning or midday pick-me-Up Mask.

@Weetart I have a few masks from this brand, but I don't think I have this one - it's sounds nice, especially the scent! It's great to have these around to use as good filler masks. Glad you enjoyed it! 🤗
