Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe
Remove clay/difficult masks in the shower to keep towel clean and removal easy	itsfi/BIC

@heartsmyface  Ooooh, that Chamomile mask looks beautiful! - and has great results with a nice scent?! Definitely sounds like a winner to me! Glad you enjoyed it! 😃

The Healing Bird mask sounds like something my skin would like - I love the creamy type of serum, plus moisturized and bouncy skin makes it even better! I love that your face is glowing! So pretty! 😊

@Shosh85   I think you really would like it.  It does the job with no frills.  i’m realizing I actually like fragrance in my masks and that they have a large effect on my grading.

@heartsmyface I totally get it. 😉 The scent of a mask is more important to me than I thought it was and I'll most likely grade a mask higher if it does have a nice scent. Though, I'd gladly take a fragrance-free mask over one that smells like dish soap or a dusty attic. 😃😂

@Shosh85 Yes I found it-it was the OOZOO Face In-Shot Mask Nutrient one you tried! @sonnydee also described the Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask as having an “earthy/stale like an attic” scent. @ShortErica @heartsmyface

C is for Collagen an ingredient in this hint of rose mask

This was a medium thickness white mask tons of extra serum,,, enough for me to save some for the next morning. @itsfi gifted this one recently 😍 ok I'm going to say the serum didn't resemble roses to me, it actually reminded me of a man's body wash or cologne or something. It wasn't bad at all, just not what I was expecting from the name @eshoe looks like we both had some surprises with scents. 😆 The fit was wide on the sides and forehead, actually this mask other than the scent was extremely similar to the strawberry milk mask I just did. It did have an issue with sticking to my chin area the entire time... But the serum was excellent,, so good,I saved the extra and applied it on my face before moisturizer this morning. All in all a lovely mask I'd give it a B 

next for hair masks... @itsfiU gifted me this amazing rose hair oil, thank you, it smells like beautiful roses. I applied it to my hair before this Shea moisture coconut and hibiscus curl and shine hair mask. Only because the first time I used this Shea mask,,,I didn't like it, left my hair feeling dry, so I thought I'd give this a shot, and it definitely worked out better! I wouldn't repurchase these Shea moisture hair masks, because I don't like the feeling when using it alone.

I feel your pain on the Shea Moisture mask, @lmaster. I'm not a fan of their hair care but they do make a baby cream that I love to use as a hand cream it has a very sweet, soft scent.

The rose oil sounds lovely @lmaster ! Sorry that the Shea Moisture hair mask made your hair feel dry ! I would have thought that it might moisturize because of the Shea Butter, guess I was wrong!

I don’t think that I’ll be purchasing it @lmaster ! If it’s not good enough for you then it’s not for me ! Your hair is curlier than mine but it’s still wavy!

Too bad the Shea hair mask doesn't perform well enough on its own @lmaster, but the oil sounds lovely!

Happy the rose oil was a winner @lmaster! Roses + hair oil of course made me think of you when I saw it and I had to pick it up for you. 🌹 Good to know about the Shea butter; like many others here, it’s something I associate more with skincare than hair care, though I do like the Sephora Shea butter hair mask; I could see how adding the oil to it would be helpful.
