That sounds like a winning mask, @lmaster !
Now this sounds like a little miracle mask @lmaster, thanks for sharing since we were just discussing the charcoal masks. I gotta know, though...just how motorized did your face get😉😂
I swear @eshoe proof reading needs to be top priority here lately 😂😂😂
@lmaster My phone likes to change words after I’ve typed them, in addition to my own mishaps, love that😆
@eshoe same!! Apparently our phones are insistent on thinking for themselves 😂
Week 26 - June 24 - 30 - Z - Masking Duel
My final Oozoo bear was the water bang mask.
This one had the protective sheet. The ear was easier to pop than the black space but harder than aurora. Perhaps first time was a charm and I was lucky with aurora? The popping was never too great an obstacle.
My face
The mask seemed to fit the same as aurora. The philtrum area just got more twisted and I just left it alone. General protective sheet question - apply mask with protective sheet still attached then remove or take off protective sheet then apply mask like one without the sheet? Thanks for the help!
Water bang didn't live up to its name as it started to feel dry early on. I checked the clock thinking it was 30 minutes and it had only been 20. By the time I removed it, it was maybe 25 minutes. The top half was quite dry and I don't think I could have worn it for the full 30. Part of me blames sitting directly below a fan but I was in the same spot when I used the black space mask.
This one had maybe a slight tack but it faded quickly. There was maybe a bit more excess serum on the package than the other two. I applied a little on my face but focused on neck, hands and arms. I still applied moisturizer because I don't think my face was exceptionally hydrated.
If I hadn't seen faeriegirl's review about a floral scent I might have missed it. I would get occasional whiffs of floral when the fan blew. But definitely light.
Today I woke up with a couple pimples. Very tiny. I don't think it was the mask. More likely the makeup wipes convenient for road trips that unfortunately contain fragrance. I still think this mask was the lowest for me. Still probably a B or B+. I really didn't see wow results and I was disappointed in the wear time. The fit was decent and I think I cant be 100 percent certain of results because I'm more busy multitasking while I mask than when I'm at home. I think this bear needs a round 2. Also I’m curious about this bear as an after sun mask. It seems to have aloe ingredients vs. what would be about hydration. Or maybe I just don’t know my ingredients well enough.<\p>
For me 1 - black space, 2 - aurora, 3 - water bang. I want to do a more thorough comparison like I did with yadah about fit vs. serum level vs. results vs. overall but think it might be overkill. Plus mobile long reviews are a bit tedious.
@ShortErica Darn. Maybe it was just a dud that didn’t get enough serum?
I'm not sure. I will definitely try again @heartsmyface. I hope it was a dud. Good thing it was a Marshall's buy dud. I'd be more upset if I paid full price.
@ShortErica Sorry to hear this one wasn't as good for as the others! I feel like I need to revisit the Black Space one again. 🤔 It's been awhile since I've tried it, so I'm curious to see if I feel the same about it. I'll be interested to see how you feel about them after a second round! 😃
I really liked when I did Yadah round 2 because it was good to confirm or prove false first impressions. Though I probably need to try a mask more than twice for a true impression, but I have so many I need to try @Shosh85 ...masking struggles 😂
Too bad this one didn't live up to the results of the others, @ShortErica.
@quspork Part of me thinks mood might have been a factor but the quicker than other wear time makes me think it was the mask. Worth trying again to find out for sure.
That's what @heartsmyface has mentioned, @ShortErica and I agree. Mood can make or break a mask, for sure.
Great recap @ShortErica! Sorry it wasn't all you wanted it to be... As for the protective sheet... sometimes I apply the mask with one side on, sometimes I don't. Depends on how hard of a time I'm having pulling the mask away from the protective layer.
Thanks @veronika23. I appreciate learning how you use the protective sheet. Maybe I’ll have to try that next time.
@ShortErica I do that when I am super frustrated and can't pull it apart. 😄 😄 😄 Sometimes it works, sometimes not so much. 😄
@ShortErica, for most masks, I remove the protective sheet and then apply the mask; mainly because when I do it the other way, I have a special talent for removing the sheet mask AND the protective sheet from my face. 😆 That’s for most masks. If the mask is a super thin biocellulose mask, I may apply the mask with the protective sheet and then slowly peel off the protective sheet.
Thanks @itsfi. I did it that way the 2nd time around and think it worked better. I applied aurora with the protective sheet on and it was awkward. I’ll be doing it how you suggest and keep in mind I might want to leave it on if it is super thin.
I would still pick up a pack for me and to share if I saw them again @lmaster. I think I was spoiled by my love of Yadah week that my mask expectations might be inflated.
