Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface

OMG, @lmaster !!  I just picked up 2 LookatMe masks at Winners the other day!  I was going to get to at least one sometime this week.  I got the Best Friend snail & green tea Face Mask and the Guacamole Face mask.  I was hesitant because I couldnt really find anything online about this company.  I am so relieved someone likes them.

Y is for Yogurt and both masks are 2019 discoveries for me

Tonight’s masking was a 2-parter and is thanks to the lovely (thank you again!) – she gifted me the that I used before dinner tonight. I’ve talked about this mask a few times and it still is a good one for me. It’s intended to brighten the skin and I love that it’s portable and effective. I’ll be packing this weekend for some upcoming work trips and this one will be going along for at least one, if not all, of them. The last half of my evening masking took place after I got back from dinner and was all about the is one that I first heard about from bakeamuffin. This is a good mask for when my skin is really dehydrated and/or really dry. It’ll likely find its way into my skincare travel bag for that reason since I know my skin will not be too happy after all the plane rides, heavily air conditioned rooms, and dealing with several different climates in a short period of time. In the past, I’ve used it as a spot treatment for areas where I experienced dry patches or flaking skin. I used it tonight as a trial run to see how it would work as an overnight mask. Along with a host of berry extracts which gives it a deliciously yummy smoothie scent, this mask contains a lot moisturizing and heavier emollient ingredients so I am mindful to not put a lot on the areas of my face that has a tendency towards clogged pores like my chin and jawline. So far, my skin feels moisturized. Will report back in the morning how effective it is as an overnight mask. 🙂

ETA: This works nicely as an overnight mask, but I think I have a slight preference for the Glow Recipe Avocado Mask over this one. I do think this Laneige is best suited for those with veeery dry skin. Those with oily skin or combo skin could also use it but should apply sparingly because the product is quite emollient and there are a few ingredients in it that are really heavy.

Thank you @veronika23! That Laneige kept wanting to roll off and away so it had to be sandwiched in between the other 2 products. Lol. 

I really like the concept of the Milk stick masks. I was hesitant at first about how clean it would be to apply it directly to my face but it’s not a problem since I always cleanse my face before I mask. I love the convenience factor too!
