2019 Mask of the Week Challenge!

Hello lovely masking mavens! Welcome to the second half of the challenge. Many thanks to the wonderful @Aaliaa for beginning this thread and excited you are here.

To Post:

Spoiler
Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Most importantly, have fun and merry masking!

Spoiler
I had a small blemish in the morning, thought it was a pimple but didnt develop and in the evening another one showed up. I said hmm what the heck. So I decided to mask last night  looking for a nourishing mask to see if that would help. Came across this super foods one.

It was drenched in serum so as usual, use the excess everywhere else as well. It had a slight scent to it, very pleasant - sweet fruity kind maybe but subtle enough to not be bothersome. Patted in the remaining serum per the usual which absorbed pretty quickly but left a slightly tacky feel to my face. I mask at night during the week so I fell asleep before I could wait any longer to see if the tackiness went away.
In the morning, there was no tackiness. Some masks that I fall asleep with having tackiness will still have it in the am but this one didn't. After I washed my face, I noticed both blemishes were gone. Did the mask help. Who knows but I'll take it as it did. My face felt nice and nourished. This would be one that I would try again if I came across one but to try in the day, mostly to check for tackiness. Not bad to have in the stash.

Re: 2019 Mask of the Week Challenge!

What brand is this and where did you find it?? If I may ask.

@GalPalVal17

Re: 2019 Mask of the Week Challenge!

I need to try this brand @GalPalVal17, the scent sounds intriguing as does the minimal tackiness. It also *seems* as though it did indeed help balance your skin, yay for that!

Re: 2019 Mask of the Week Challenge!

Nice! Glad to see this one seemed to do the trick, @GalPalVal17

Re: 2019 Mask of the Week Challenge!

@GalPalVal17  So glad the mask seemed to help.

Re: 2019 Mask of the Week Challenge!

@GalPalVal17 that's great it was a winner for you! love when you seen quick results from a sheet mask

Re: 2019 Mask of the Week Challenge!

I’m glad this one helped @GalPalVal17!

Re: 2019 Mask of the Week Challenge!

Y for Yay seems good @GalPalVal17. Have you tried any others from this line and if so, how was their tackiness? I can't recall if you've tried a bunch of these or if it's been a mix of maskers.

Re: 2019 Mask of the Week Challenge!

@ShortErica  I haven't used this brand before or that I can remember, but I think there have been reviews here from various maskers. I think all pretty positive.

Re: 2019 Mask of the Week Challenge!

I think so @GalPalVal17 except maybe @lmaster didn't like a tomato one. But I remember good feelings from the fruit and veggies week.

I'm glad this was a good one though! Let us know if you stay up when you try it again and if the tackiness fades nicely.

Re: 2019 Mask of the Week Challenge!

@ShortErica @GalPalVal17 I've liked the ones I've tried from this brand, maybe it was @missjeanie 🤷

Re: 2019 Mask of the Week Challenge!

@lmaster maybe my mind is connecting it wrong. You said the butt mask didn't smell pleasant.. haha. Butt smell. And I think whoever did tomato said it smelled odd too. Someone will remember or be this tomato masking person.

Re: 2019 Mask of the Week Challenge!

@ShortErica I remember @lmaster not liking the Huangjisoo Broccoli mask, trying to think if I remember a disliked tomato one🤔

Re: 2019 Mask of the Week Challenge!

Yep @Shosh85 I definitely did not like that broccoli mask

Re: 2019 Mask of the Week Challenge!

@ShortErica yep none of the butts smelled good lmao!!!🤦😂

Re: 2019 Mask of the Week Challenge!

I've added this to my list! @GalPalVal17

It sounds lovely. I like not necessarily feeling the tackiness the next day.
