@GalPalVal17 sounds like a great masking duo! I always love a clay mask with a soothing or hydrating sheet mask after!
@Kim888 yes, they make for a great combo. I like the tightness of the clay masks but following it up with a sheet mask is a must. Being on this thread I learned that and it's helped so much.
I recently tried that Yadah mask and really liked it too @GalPalVal17 ! I haven't tried the Sand & Sky clay mask though. Maybe when I work through my current stash of clay masks I'll pick that one up. Thanks!!
@mrsmouse yess I saw your comments about this mask which made me excited to try it. It did not disappoint. Hope to find some at a TJM or Marshalls.
Had I known you needed some pore care I would've sent you the Yadah Pore Care mask @GalPalVal17! The combo is visually appealing. I'm glad both worked nicely and there wasn't a tacky feeling with the mask. I will find a jelly Yadah soon. 🙂
@ShortErica youre too sweet. I love pore care masks. I've got quite a few sheet and clay masks for that. I know I have a Yadah mask that looks similar to this just don't remember which one it is, aloe or this one. The black charcoal sheet mask seem to fit pretty well and are pretty darn flexible.
@GalPalVal17 I'm still trying to figure out my favorite masks but am leaning toward plumping ones maybe. I also just love trying them all. What masks have you found as the best fit for your face?
This is the first time I've seen that Sand & Clay mask, @GalPalVal17. I haven't tried the brand yet but hoping to soon!
@eshoe I got this in a mask sample bag (birchbox maybe). I think the FS comes in a pink box and jar. I've used it a few times and I like when samples have a few uses to them so you can get a real feel for a mask.
Continued with morning masking Monday, and started “Y” week off with HABA Yellow Smoothie Mask and SEPHORA COLLECTION - Lip Balm & Scrub - Honey, an all-time favorite of mine.
There are 3 of these HABA smoothie masks – a red one, a green one and this yellow smoothie mask. Notable ingredients in this one are lemon, pineapple, peach, yogurt and honey, and its intended function is to brighten and refresh. This cotton mask is on the thicker side, but it has a stretch or give to it that allows you to manipulate the mask’s size if need be. I didn’t need to do that; instead, I snipped off about half an inch at the chin and the outer corners of the eye and mouth area. The serum on this one is more lotion like and now that I know the key ingredients in this one, the scent makes sense. 😉 The scent is really subtle – I had to take a deep whiff in order to pick up the somewhat citrusy, somewhat sweet, somewhat milky (the yogurt) scent. Directions recommended 10-15 minutes and I probably had it on for 15 – it felt like it was drying up a bit at that mark; I probably could have eeked out another 10 minutes with it on but I was in a hurry to get out the door. My complexion did look brighter and more awake, which is always good in the morning, particularly a Monday morning. Ha! This mask is a nice one; of the three masks in the line, my preferences would be for the red smoothie mask in the winter, the green smoothie one in the spring and summer. This yellow one, while good, is probably my least favorite of the three and to me, it seems better suited for my skin during the transition months for winter-spring and summer-fall.
@itsfi This one sounds so great and I love the ingredients you listed! I really enjoyed the Green Smoothie, so it's nice t hear this is a good one too! 🙌😃
@Shosh85, all the masks in the smoothie line from this brand have been good; just depends on what my skin is needing. I also like that the essence for each of the masks has a different texture - one is a gel essence, the other is more milky, this one feels more like a lotion.
The ingredients in all of the masks in this line are so good, @lmaster. They're inspiring of actual smoothies - an idea for the next time I reach for one of these sheet masks.
This sounds like a really nice one @itsfi. And it seems like everyone likes that honey lip scrub.
All the masks in this line have been good to my skin @PrettyPaint! 🙂
great to hear those masks worked out well @itsfi !
It's nice to find a set of masks that all work well @Kim888! My wallet may beg to differ though.
Nice to hear all the HABA masks were good @itsfi. I like that you've pinpointed when each of them would be better to use. Thanks!
I have this one left of the three you sent at Christmas, @itsfi - it's one I don't want to use because I know it's going to be good so I've been saving 'for a special occasion.' The other two were very enjoyable, nice fit - everything one could hope for in a mask 🙂
