Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

It's the first day of W / DIY week. I went with the letter of the week and this morning, W is for watermelon.

My skin was still looking and feeling moisturized from the vampire sheet mask I used yesterday so I reached for these Kocostar Watermelon Slice Mask Sheet and placed them where I am more prone to dryness. I also placed a few on my neck, chest and elbows. These have the sweet scent of watermelon and like other slice masks are good for a quick burst of hydration (though it is not lasting) on targeted spots on the face and body, which may or may not be for everyone. Next time I reach for these, I'll plan to wear them under a sheet mask. To continue with the watermelon theme and scent, I went with SEPHORA COLLECTION - Lip Balm & Scrub - Watermelon. The watermelon version is just a balm, no scrub and smells good. 🙂

@Weetart, I love watermelon too. 🙂 I've seen the watermelon ones at Anthropologie, Neiman's (online), and found a box of these at Marshalls / TJ Maxx. For a quick second, they were also at Target, but that was a while ago.

@itsfi I've been surprised at how many masks I had/have that fit in with the alphabet towards the end here.  I thought I wasn't going to have any.  I pull a group of masks that fit the theme at the beginning of the week and I've had lots to choose from each night!  I think I'm either getting better at finding the theme or it's a sign I'm overrun with masks!

Love the Sephora balms; the honey 🍯 is my favorite. The watermelon 🍉 one makes me think of summertime. 😊
