I'm pretty sure I have all the TCFS coconut masks so I'll have to look for this one @heartsmyface. A moisturizing and A+ mask always gets my attention. Do you like this oil in coconut mask more than the coconut ceramide mask from the brand?
I'm with you and @Shosh85 with thinking the Coscodi mask was a bubble mask, which is why I've kept putting it to the side. Now that I know it's not, I may need to give it a try soon.
@heartsmyface I really enjoyed that TCFS mask too! Definitely great for dry skin!
I'm happy to hear the Coscodi mask was pretty decent – for some reason I was thinking it'd be a bubble mask too! I'm super happy about the sweet grape scent, that alone makes me excited to try it 😉😃
I felt the exact same way about that Cascade mask, @heartsmyface. Had such high hopes for it, too! I think that was about the time I read about using sparkling water to rinse off a mask as an added benefit. Haven't tried it only because I forget and just usually drink my sparkling water:D
@eshoe oh is that a thing? I’ve never heard that. What’s the logic? I have imagery of you pouring a can of club soda over your face. :D.
Let’s see @heartsmyface...something about the pH levels. Carbonated water is slightly acidic whereas tap is around 7. Someone here commented they use bottled water to cleanse and I thought wow what a lot of extra work. But there might just be something to it.
V is for 24 miracle Vitamin facial mask with whole lemon.
This is was a pretty decent mask. It had a nice sweet citrus scent. It didn’t have a lot of serum but there was just enough for me to leave it on for 30 minutes instead of the recommended 10 to 20. My face did look a little brighter and I did get a little hydration from it. It did feel pretty tacky though. I don’t think I would repurchase this one. I give it a B- for lack of extra serum and tackiness. Then I used the Sara Happ lemonade scrub and then Lanolips Lemonaid lip treatment. They are both favorites😊
@faeriegirl I feel ya with the tackiness. Sometimes its ok if it gives me great results but I'm not very fond of it. Too bad on that aspect but at least it was still a decent mask. Citrus smells yum.
@faeriegirl sorry that mask didn't end up being great for you - overly tacky masks are the worst feeling!
Ohhh @faeriegirl, this looks like an amazing masking session! ❤️ I love lemon / lemonade!!
@faeriegirl It sounds like a nice one! Sorry it wasn't more exciting, but at least it wasn't a bad! 😃🍋
I just KNEW I wanted to head out to pick up something, @faeriegirl - that Lanolips! I was hoping to pair that as well, sounds like such a refreshing combo. Bummer about the tack from the mask, we need a strawberry lemonade sheet mask now;)
A strawberry lemonade mask sounds awesome @eshoe!😊
@eshoe YES to the strawberry lemonade mask! 😍🍋🍓
Maybe for DIY week @Shosh85 @faeriegirl 🤔 Biobelle has some new summer masks out thT look scrumptious. Pineapple, watermelon...yum! In the meantime I’ll just have to keep my eyes out for a strawberry lemonade mask. I did see this pop up this morning: fresh Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash 4.2 oz / 125 ml
Week 22 - May 27 - Jun 2 - V - Guess that Mask
No guessing games this time..cause I'm late, I'm late for a very important date. I intended to use the Vita Lightbeam with @eshoe and @Shosh85 like we decided but a contact problem got the better of me. So I did it tonight.
The smell is a bit clean and floral. I don't remember my notes from last time but the smell seems more noticeable than I remember. It is a bit wide and the chin is long but the forehead is good. The nose and philtrum area is okay as well size-wise but was dry much quicker than the rest of the mask. I like the material and was able to smush it correctly on my face with no snipping.
My face:
While wearing the mask I didn't notice the scent. I wore it 30 minutes. Like above, the nose and philtrum were very dry but the border was quite wet. I hated removing with so much serum on parts of it, but I guess it is what it is. It does leave the skin with a somewhat tacky feel.
My skin was nice and plump. I had some redness and though it was still present, it was diminished. I would say the bright claim is accurate. The package had excess serum which I put on those "dry spots", my neck, and all up and down my arms.
So pros: good results, nice material, decent and manageable fit, good wear time. Cons: scent, somewhat fit offness, tackiness. Grade: A-. I just looked and my quick notes in my spreadsheet say "A, good fit, good serum, nice results, slight scent" from my initial try. So I guess 2nd impressions aren't quite as high as the first but still good.
Lol... I just read this all with Alice in wonderland in my mind @ShortErica ! This is why it’s always good to give a mask a second go!
I hoping the Yadah lives up to my high marks in a couple weeks @missjeanie!
