Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni

@keana1 I admit, I spotted the fresh peach lips & had to add them to my loves list. how are you liking it? some of the reviews are iffy🤔🍑

@sonnydee the formula is great, however it has a very faint peach scent! Had I had the chance to smell it in the Sephora store nearby, I wouldn’t have bought it. The lemon and coconut ones smell great!

Tuesday ( last week ) . Since last week’s theme was my idea, ( oh gosh, someone smoking pot outside and it stinks, my window are open 🤢 ) I tried the Ariul Juice Cleanse Mask Raspberry & Lentil Anti-Wrinkle Recipe Honey Pot Squeeze ( why such a long name? ) from the wonderful @itsfi ( Thanks Fi 😍 ). ( @eshoe , I’ve tried the one that you sent me. It’s not exactly the same mask ). This cotton sheet mask contains raspberry, lentil, blueberry, vitamin A ( retinyl palmitate , don’t forget sunscreen if you use it in the daytime! Anyway we all need sunscreen/sunblock during the day ! ). I used this mask as part of my PM routine. The serum does contain alcohol but it’s closer to the end of the ingredients list so I wasn’t really concerned that it might be drying since glycerin is the 3rd ingredient and sodium hyaluronate is the 8th one. It also contains honey extract and niaciamide ( brightens skin ) which doesn’t interfere with the retinyl palmitate so the ingredients were well thought out. It does contain fragrance but it’s the last ingredient. The serum smells like candy ( Sweet Tarts ) yummy 😋!. I left it on for 30-35 min. before removing. I was quite pleased with the results, my skin was nice and plump, glowing and the serum didn’t leave a sticky residue. I would definitely use this mask again and again! ❤️❤️❤️

I didn’t feel that the dots were scratchy @eshoe . I let the serum marinate the mask for about 5 minutes before using it!

Fruits, veggies and vitamins all in one! 🙂 Happy to hear you like this mask @keana1! This line of "juice cleanse" masks are all nice - some have given me good ideas for juicing or smoothie ingredients; well, minus the lentils. LOL!

Thanks @itsfi ! Smoothies with greek yogurt or protein powder are great for summer, without lentils! 🤢. I don’t have a juicer but I do have a blender ! Juicers remove fibre and you feel hungry 10 minutes afterwards! Or in my case hangry !

I enjoyed both equally @lmaster but we don’t have the same skin type so this might explain why you enjoyed the one with retinyl palmitate more than the vitamin C one!

Guess this mask - there's actually 2 masks from this brand I'll be using later tonight. The clue, which I'll post below, is just about the brand.

V is for Vichy!

I started off with the Vichy Double Glow Peel Mask which I’ve used before. This mask contains fruit acids and volcanic rock particles to slough away dead skin cells and exfoliate the skin. It has a smooth and cream-gel consistency and a clean, fresh scent. The exfoliation is not harsh and, after 5 minutes, my skin feels soft and looks clear and glowy afterwards. 5 minutes is also all it took for the Vichy Quenching Mineral Mask to work its magic. The thing about this Vichy mineral mask is that you don’t necessarily have to rinse it off. I applied a thin-ish layer of this gel all over my face, let it sit and absorb for 5 minutes and then massage any remaining product into my skin. The gel has a cooling sensation when applied and feels refreshing sitting atop my face. My skin does feel tacky after applying the gel mask but that's easily remedied once I continue on with my skincare routine. Next time I’ll see what results I get if I rinse off the mask after massaging in the excess serum.
