Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

Love that it smells like grapefruit @lmaster and I'm all in for a brighter complexion! It can be a pain when it takes so long for the essence to fully absorb. I find that happens to me with the change in seasons - usually winter to spring as my skin changes from dry to combo.

It was pretty good @missjeanie I think if it's left it on overnight, it would probably be absorbed the next morning 😅

Y'know @lmaster that serum not absorbing so quickly point might be a good thing for someone like me who lives in a really arid, hot climate. Sheet masks dry out so quickly for me I hardly ever make it to the 20-minute mark so hmmm I might want to try this!

@lmaster I've had good luck with this brand and this one certainly looks delicious! I'm so happy to hear it had a Grapefruit scent! It's too bad about the serum, but I'm glad you saw some results! 👍🤗

It was just still very saturated, just sitting on my face, but I wonder if I'd left it on for a bit longer, if it would of absorbed better  @Shosh85

@Kim888 this one didn't feel like it absorbed until I started massaging it in, but it didn't stay tacky or sticky, so I was happy

Last night I used the Sephora Collection Aloe Sleeping Mask to help with my sunburn. This one had the gel consistency I was looking for. I woke up with my face less red. I will continue to use this up this week, as you get plenty in the pod. I rate it an A.

I tried the aloe sheet mask and didn’t care for it but the sleeping mask sounds so much better @emaisgr8!

I used that this week too! But I used the entire tub since I have really dry skin, and I slathered it on my face and neck. I let it sit for a few minutes, then I rubbed it in. My skin felt quenched when I woke up the next morning. I would rate it an A too!

@emaisgr8 A lot of these seem to get great reviews! I'm happy you enjoyed it! I bet it would be great right out of the fridge, especially after being in the sun! I've only tried one, and I liked the results, I just don't like how inconvenient the packaging is. There's a few uses in it but not an easy way to reseal it for the next time. I've seen other brands that come with little lids to put on it – I think it'd be nice if Sephora did that too. With mine, I taped it up then put it in a ziploc bag. How do you store it after you've opened it?

@Shosh85  I have had luck lately. I didn’t do anything special. I didn’t take the entire lid off , so I was able to just press the little bit I did open back down.
