Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

yes~ I actually like them more than the seaweed ones to be honest... they are both wonderful but there is something about the ginseng berry eye mask that makes me feel like I am being pampered !

My experiment!Key ingredients in my body creamMaelys B-Tight & Firm Booty Mask ingredients list

My experiment!Wednesday I decided to use my Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Visibly Firming Refillable Body Cream 8.1 oz/ 240 mL

samples along with some samples of the CLARINS - Body Fit Anti-Cellulite Contouring Expert

to make a kind of dupe of the MAELYS COSMETICS - B-Tight Lift & Firm Booty Mask

I mixed them together, added 3 full droppers of the The Ordinary Caffeine 5% + EGCG Depuffing Eye Serum 1 oz/ 30 mL

, about 5 ml of the Mario Badescu Super Collagen Mask 2 oz/ 56 g

and about 8 drops of the Essencia Peppermint essential oil and stirred everything with a chop stick. ( see spoiler for ingredients list of the Maelys B-Tight Lift & Firm Booty Mask ). The MB Super Collagen Mask contains collagen and kaolin. The SDJ Bum Bum cream contains Guarana seed extract and the Clarins Body Fit contains caffeine, mint leaf extract. I didn’t want to get some pink pepper since it’s quite expensive and I rarely cook with it at home. So I substituted it with the Peppermint essential oil. The Maelys B-Tight & Firm Booty Mask is always OOS! So after mixing everything, I applied my usual body lotion ( which has amazing ingredients ( I’ll post the key ingredients ) and followed with my concoction on my booty, but obviously I can’t see results yet, I’ll have to use it everyday until it’s finished since I only made approximately 50ml of it. It does make my booty soft. I’ll keep you updated if I see results.

You’re so sweet @Shosh85 ! I always loved science, just like my father! My mom and sister, not so much! I’m not expecting a miracle but if it works or not, I’m fine with it! Time will tell! At least my booty will be soft ! All that’s left is to find a man to touch it Lol 😂! That hasn’t happened yet but I’m not desperate to find one, I’m quite happy to be single at this moment! 😊

Thanks @itsfi ! I just love experimenting with skincare! When I was a pharmacist I was professionally obsessed with reading the ingredients lists of many OTC and prescription products ( creams, lotions, meds ) and comparing them so I guess it’s a work related effect! 🧫 In pharmacy school we had compounding labs and prepared so many different dermatological products so this helps a lot!

Preparing dermatological products sounds like fun @keana1! 😍💓 In college, to meet one of my requirements, I really wanted to take a chemistry class where one of the projects was making your own perfume, but sadly, the class was not offered at a time that fit my school and work schedules. 😐😤
