Oh crap, I got my days mixed up @eshoe ! I mixed up Tuesday and Thursday! I guess that happens when French is your main language for conversations! I’ll try it on Wednesday! 🙄🙄🙄. I always confuse Tuesday and Thursday! Next time we should determine a specific date to compare masks so that I won’t make the same mistake. 🤦🏻♀️
Good idea @keana1! And I can’t believe I didn’t think of trying either the Peptide or Propolis this week, oh well!
The Oozoo Face In-Shot Nutrient Mask
I'm usually not too big on masks that have multiple steps, but I thought this one was kinda fun. First you take out the syringe, which has two compartments of serum, and push the button at the top so that that it pushes the top serum to mix with the bottom and give it a little shake. Then you are supposed to inject the mixed serum into the white cap in the middle of the package, which releases into the pouch with the mask. Before opening, you are to massage the package, insuring it's all evenly distributed. This is a whit cotton mask of about medium thickness and is drenched with a thin, milky serum. The scent is sort of hard to explain, it kinda reminds me of something old or stale, maybe something you'd find in a dusty attic – it definitely wasn't an enjoyable scent, but it was light enough that it didn't bother me too much. The adherence and fit were both great – it was just a little long at the chin. It also had pre-cut slits on both sides of the chin and corners of the eyes, which made it feel even more comfy. I kept it on for about 40 minutes and when I removed it there was just a little serum left that was slightly tacky, but it didn't take long for everything to absorb. My face felt soft and smooth and my skin felt comfortable and hydrated. The hydration from this was great and was long lasting.
Even though the extra little steps were sort of fun and the hydration was good, I'd probably not seek this one out again. It just didn't wow me. I can find better hydrating masks that smell better, have the thinner material I prefer and do more than just hydrate. I wouldn't say this is a bad mask, since nothing negative happened and it did hydrate well, so I'd give this one a B-
Ingredients: (eta: this is the correct ingredient list)
@Shosh85, I've tried this mask before and you said it well when you said this one just didn't wow you. It's a good mask; there are just others that are better - the things we learn the more masks we use. Ha! I even see it when I'm looking at the masks I've used at the end of the week - on its own during the week, a mask can be great but then I look at it in relation to all the masks I used during the week or the last couple of weeks and it's still a good mask, but not necessarily as great as I thought it was vis-a-vis other masks.
@byme4u Oops! I uploaded all the ingredients ahead of time after picking out the masks I wanted to use, but forgot to label them and this one got mixed up with another I'm planning on using this week – (I'm definitely not excited about those ingredients, especially the alcohol!) I edited my post and put up the correct ingredients for this one. 😉
I found that one to be underwhelming, too, @Shosh85. Such a bummer because the packaging really leads you to have some high expectations 😂 It’s definitely fun and worth a shot , at least once!
@eshoe Yeah, the packaging makes it look so fancy! Haha! I feel like all (well maybe most) masks are worth a shot at least once! 😉
I’ve tried all of the In-Shot ones @Shosh85, and for what it’s worth, this was my favorite 😉
@lmaster Well, they can't all be winners! 😉
Help! I'm at Marshall's and see what I think are intriguing masks. I recall some people saying Yadah was good or am I mistaken? Quick feedback appreciated!
@ShortErica I just read through this thread all excited to see what you ended up getting!! lol It's my version of TV tonight! I'm excited to see how the masks work out for you! I picked up the Yaddah Aloe ones but haven't tried them yet! I've used the Yaddah snail ones and quite like them. I've bought a few packs to use them for easy 'don't think about it' masks!
The masking thread is great @missjeanie. I think BIC should have a poll of which thread is the best and this one would win. Haha.
I hope the aloe end up being great for both of us. 😁
I completely agree @ShortErica ! The masking thread has been my go to. I just went 36 hours without BIC and it felt so weird! Had to catch up on masks as a top priority!
@ShortErica, the Yadah sheet mask was the one that @cianni recently posted about a couple of pages down.
I'm so glad you have a much better memory than me @itsfi! I thought they had good reviews but even that was foggy in my mind. I'm trying to do a smart buy but they have collagen, rose, and aloe 10 packs for a good price. 😬
Those ingredients all sound wonderful @ShortErica! Hard to say which one to pick up - do you have a preference for any of the ingredients? A smart buy is always a good thing and if choosing between collagen, aloe and rose, it's a tough one - they all have such great skincare benefits.
I would lean more toward collagen or aloe since I tend not too like too scented masks and am not sure if the rose would have more of a smell. Still for the price I'm thinking I need to go back and get them all @itsfi. I at least did smart buy in terms of asking on this board before purchasing, right?
hahaha @ShortErica! Yes, it was absolutely a smart buy move to ask us... but, I wonder, does that make us enablers? I know, us enablers? Shocking, isn't it?!
Hahaha. Nah, because if it was a bad product you'd tell me no @itsfi You just enable good purchases. 😉
