@itsfi you didn't ask me but I've been enjoying it for sure. Not positive I would spend that much money on a lip balm but maybe I'll be swayed as I continue using it.
That’s how I feel about it too @ShortErica. I really like it but I’m not sure I’d pay that much for one🤔
I like to do some little experimenting @lmaster !
@keana1 Oh, that's too bad it didn't turn out so great for you! I've really liked this line of masks so far, but haven't tried the bamboo one yet. I'm curious to try it and see if my skin does same thing. 🤔 That's interesting it took that long to dry in the sink – I wonder how long it would've taken to dry on the face? I'm guessing not as long as in the sink, but that's still impressive! 🤔
Thanks for your review! 👌
I’m also curious to read about your experience with the Bamboo Mask @Shosh85 ! It would have taken less time to dry if I left it on just because my skin is warmer than the ambient temperature, but I was curious to find out how much time it took to dry 🧐 !
I've been testing out the DE APassioni retinol creme for the last month? ish? I was up to using it nightly when I was masking pretty much nightly and doing okay with keeping my extremely dry skin moisturized enough. Well... I've fallen behind in my masking and my skin was screaming from being so dry. I've stopped the retinol and all acids really for a few days, but am still paying the price. Today was all about hydration and moisturization for me.
I came home from an early morning fridge shopping excursion and took off my make up with the Erno Laszlo Sensitive Cleansing Oil. Love this stuff. It's not so heavy feeling, but it still removes my make up, and doesn't strip my skin. My skin actually feels really nice after using this. I'll be keeping my eyes out for more of it!
I followed up with Lapcos Oil Wrap Mask that was gifted to me by @eshoe . I believe it was @heartsmyface who mentioned that the material of this mask was off.... I kind of understand that. It felt as though it had a bit of a difficult time sticking to my face in certain areas, almost like it was too stiff. It certainly wasn't the most comfortable mask I've worn, but I've gotta say I really enjoyed the serum on this mask. It did have a bit of a floral scent to it, but I didn't notice it once I had the mask on. I had this on for the time it took me to do two tax returns, I'm guessing about 45 minutes. My skin did feel a lot of relief from this mask, but I'm not sure I'd seek it out simply due to fit. B grade due to ill fit, but lovely serum.
Since I was heading out again this evening I moisturized with the DE Lala, and used the DE Lippe Balm as an eye balm (the outer corners of my eyes are particularly dry at the moment). This is a decent lip balm, but it really shines for me as an eye/face balm when I'm faced with such dry skin that needs soothing.
Tonight after another Erno Laszlo cleansing I grabbed the Sephora Collection Lotus mask. I was inspired after seeing @faeriegirl use a Sephora Collection today to use up one of a trio that I've had for waaaaaaayyyy too long! Do they still sell these sets? I've got to imagine this was purchased more than 5 years ago? I don't know why I waited, the mask had a thicker feel to it, but it stayed stuck to my face nicely. I wore it for about 30 minutes and then massaged in any remaining serum. There was a slight off scent to it when I stuck my nose right into the package, otherwise I couldn't smell anything. I couldn't see any dry patches when I took it off and found that my skin was again looking a bit better than it was before. I followed up with another round of LaLa and Lippe. I feel like after taking care today and mixing in a few masks my skin is heading back in the right direction again... Thank You masks!
I'm on the tail end of my skin's post-professional peel recovery process, so I feel ya @missjeanie! 🙂 It's all about hydration, hydration and, wait for it... hydration!!! If anything, this post-peel recovery time is really showing me which products, including masks, work wonders for parched skin! Using DE Lippe Balm as an eye balm is a brilliant idea missjeanie and I'm so going to do that when I get home.
Great masking @missjeanie! I’m so glad your skin is feeling better. I’ve never used the DE lippe on my eyes but I’m definitely gonna try it❤️
I really think the Lippe shines as an eye balm/moisturizer @faeriegirl ! I'd encourage anyone with dry skin to try it for sure!
Yes yes yes @missjeanie - the serum in the Lapcos is amazing, the delivery is lacking a bit😄 I would like to put that serum on a lightweight cotton mask and see what happens!
The oil really was great @eshoe , I'd consider it again for the oil alone. I liked that the mask was a two piece, I think if it was a one piece it would have been a real fail on the part of the fabric, the two piece factor saved it!
I found when I use it that I remove the bottom after about 10 minutes or so @missjeanie.
I always forget to mention that, but it makes it much more tolerable!
@missjeanie Sounds like a great skincare round-up!! Happy to hear your skin is doing better now! 👍
I have that Erno Laszlo Cleansing Oil and still haven't used it yet – thanks for the reminder! I'm glad you like it! 👌
I love that DE Lippie! I like to put it on my under eyes that seem to get drier than the rest of my face and it is so soothing! Good to know I'm not only one who uses it on their face too! 😉
@Shosh85I've loved the DE Lippe for undereye! I'm glad that I know I'm not the only one now either! And I don't have a ton of experience with cleansing oils, but I do love the EL one!
Ugh, I'm sorry these have been discontinued @sonnydee! 😞 It's such a bummer when you find a good product that works wonders on your skin, only to discover the brand no longer makes it. Hope you find a good replacement. I like the CosRx acne patches and the PEACE OUT - Acne Healing Dots.
Thank you for the pics of those Skyn dots @sonnydee. I’ve had a few in sets but have always passed them on (but my curiosity has remained). Doesn’t look too intimidating 😉
