@eshoe, *need* is all relative, yes? 😆😉 If you pick the kiwi 🥝 one up, I do think you’ll NEED to pick up another honey 🍯 one while you’re at it. For better comparison! 😝
Lol @itsfi I think we’re all pretty ok with taking a bit of a stretch to meet the theme, be it letter or catagory. Glad your skin got what it needed!
Awww, thank you @missjeanie! 🤗 I just grabbed a mask my skin needed and thought “well, let’s just see how we’re gonna make you fit into the challenges.” Haha! 😂
@ShortErica was a Masking Hero and posted the most fabulous, in-depth, everything-you-wanted-to-know-about-it post about the mask we tasked tonight! I am here to tag-team my thoughts.
The OH Power Bright is one of my favorite at home peels! Glad you were able to try the Mediheal Vita sheet mask; it’s one I really like. @eshoe
Love the orange theme, @eshoe! I'm glad to hear the Mediheal worked out well for you. It's always nice to find new loves!
I totally agree, @lmaster! Any M or N masks come to mind? “O” week is also Oozoo week, I will for sure be doing the Rose Capsule one then, and one of the bears (I have the Aurora and Water Bang).
Let me look and see what m or n I have, but definitely the oozoo and rose I have @eshoe
I love that you both tried the same mask last night!! So cool to get two reviews at the same time! I have to agree about the OH mask set... part of me is kicking myself for not grabbing more... then I remember... I only have one face... lol... @eshoe I’m sure you’ll spot another, or something new!
I know, @missjeanie - There were at least two more boxes (which I put back😄) because really, I don’t need them and don’t want them to expire before I get to them.
@eshoe @missjeanie I saw these at TJ Maxx the last time I was there but don't know why I didnt pick them up. I have loved most if not everything from OH. Guess the next time I go and I see these, its a must. Thanks for your thoughts ladies 🙂
You're welcome, @GalPalVal17 - I know I will be picking up another box if I spy one there 😉
🤣 we both were probably fiddling with the mask simultaneously - "open mask OPEN!" I'm glad you had great results too @eshoe. That's too funny we did it around the same time. I agree, "M" week is going to be amazing!
YES, yes I bet we were, @ShortErica 😄 I think I've found though, that the most difficult masks to open are almost always the most worth the effort 🙂
The scent really didn't bother me and was so light. I had applied perfume an hour or so before and it was stronger than I remember and I think that played into it (strong jasmine scent I think; and a bit more than I meant to use). Great mask overall, <3!!!
@eshoe So happy to hear you both loved this one! It sounds wonderful! 😉 I've enjoyed the Mediheal masks I've tried so far! 👍😃
This is the fifth one I've tried (I think; two were from gross week and I've tried to erase the memory) from the brand and they all have had a consistently good fit, @Shosh85. Nice material, hardly any tackiness- all around loves!
Week 12 - Mar 17 - 24 - L - Sample that made you buy the FS
So @eshoe and I coordinated to do the Mediheal Vita Lightbeam mask tonight. 🙂 Can't wait to see what she thinks.
This kinda falls in theme since Mediheal was the mask brand that made me realize sheet mask can actually fit your face - like WHAT?! Despite this being one of the few masks that has directions that don't state to apply toner, I decided to do a little extra.
I tried the sample of SON & PARK - Beauty Water as a step after cleansing and before the mask. Not sure if it was my hot shower, the toner, or a combination but the redder areas of my skin were definitely looking pink. It felt like there might be a bit of alcohol in the product. Looking at the ingredient list though, it appears at the very bottom. I think I have enough for another couple uses so I want to try it again before giving a grade.
After the toner I applied the mask.
Now my memory of Mediheal is quite favorable so I didn't want it to set too high of expectations but also didn't want to blind myself to faults from a fantasy I "remembered." I think the masks fits well. Now that I've done more sheet masks, I will admit some others have fit my face a little more perfectly but this one is really good. It needs to be just a tad higher on the forehead but overall it adjusts easily.
The mask was pretty drenched in serum but not dripping. I felt like I was wasting it since I struggled a little to unfold it. It had "Mediheal" imprinted on the front so I love that I knew what side went on my face. Opening the packet I got a scent, maybe lightly floral that I could smell occasionally as I wore it but it wasn't prominent.
I wore the mask 25-30 minutes though the instructions had the max at 20. I live on the edge - ha! While I wore it I maybe had a cooling? sensation. I want to double check with eshoe. It was still moist around the chin and forehead but the nose and cheeks were quite dry. I patted in the remaining serum and like the fool I am, that was the only time I touched my face before dunking my hands in the packet to apply the extra serum to my neck, hands, and face again. I believe my face felt smooth. The extra serum on my hands dried quickly and they felt smooth but the additional serum on my face and neck left a slight tacky feeling. Now, like a half hour after that my face doesn't have a tacky feeling.
The results were good for me. The pink areas of my face were no longer bright. I think my face in general looked very even. I would say it helped with hydrating and brightening. I did a scan of the ingredients. I liked seeing sodium hyaluronate near the top and it also had collagen, aloe juice, niacinamide, and willow bark.
Another perk was the cellulose material. I think mask thickness/thinness is one of the least important features to me as long as the mask stays put - spoiler - I did not check that one in the survey. But that doesn't mean I don't appreciate thin, kinda see through and very comfortable material.
So the fit, serum level (though I would like to wear masks for 30+ minutes this was good length of time for masking), and results were all positives. The slight fragrance was my only "I don't know about this" feature. I think I would give it an A. I have a 2nd one and will want to try it after I forget how I felt. I think 2nd impressions probably are more important than firsts and can't wait to I discover my staple masks.
Lastly, LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask Intense Hydration with Vitamin C OriginalI applied it after dinner and before my shower. I washed and cleansed my face and it wasn't going to survive a shower. I will put it on again before I go to bed. I enjoy the smooth consistency. I also think that when you look at price per use it really isn't as expensive as it seems. I just wish it would last like the Bite one. So I would rate it A-. Very good but there could be improvements.
Me too @lmaster! I always worried that some brand I associate with good things will give me a dud and then I won't know what to do.
Love the duel masking @ShortErica !! Great review!
