@itsfi it's definitely still a mystery to me 😅 I'm wearing a headband to cover it up so I don't get makeup in it uughhh
Thanks for the picture @lmaster - it speaks volumes about that mask. The part that had the mask touching it looks so much better.
@ShortErica I was thrilled to see how clean this mask made it! Proved to me it definitely pulls out toxins
Oh @lmaster that cut looks awful! 😱 I wonder if you scratched yourself with your nail in your 😴...that mask sure amended things well, though, thank goodness. I hope it heals quickly!
@eshoe I sure don't know, but apparently I didn't even wake up when it happened! It hurts tho,,,uughhhh
@sonnydeeI believe I've seen the OhK! masks at my drug store. I'll have to keep an eye out! Thanks for the great review!
@sonnydee Love the Green Clean! I got it in a sub and will probably purchase more when I'm done!
The Coffee mask sounds so good! I love coffee/caffeine masks! Happy to hear you enjoyed it – will definitely have to look for this one! 🤗☕️
Ooooh now that coffee scented mask sounds like one I need in my life @sonnydee 🤩 would be fun to do a duel with the Crème Shop one & compare notes. Coffee Eye Gels would be great, too!
Yaaaay!! 🙌🏼 So happy that the Oh! K coffee mask was a hit @sonnydee! 🥰😃 Oh my goodness, that is a fantastic hack - cut one piece sheet mask in half for a better fit! That is brilliant, sonnydee! 👍🏼
I'm looking forward to hearing how the eye mask works out with steady use. I always wonder weather they have a long term benefit @IndyQT317
@IndyQT317 Great masking duo! That's pretty awesome you're using the eye masks regularly! I'll definitely be interested in hearing your progress/results! 👍
These masks are getting a lot of love this week, @IndyQT317! 💗 that Pearl one, might be my favorite of the face masks😊
The Sephora Collection pearl face mask is wonderful @IndyQT317! 💗 Love that one! I’m interested in hearing your thoughts on the results from the grape eye 🍇 after continual and consistent use. Will keep on watch for that post.
@IndyQT317 looks like some solid masking! I love to hear about experiences with long term use (mainly because I never stick with one mask long enough to see results that take several weeks to start seeing)
More masking miracles for this weeks theme! These are all Sephora Collection products, which I’ve seen a lot of for these weeks theme! There may be more effective products on the market (although I have great and consistent results with these), but for the price, there’s not a lot that can compete! I did a multi-mask with the Sephora Collection Clay masks (samples pictured). I use the green clay on my oily areas, and the pink clay on the rest of my face. And to round out my SC night, I used the Sephora Collection Coconut Hair Sleeping Mask.
For both clay masks - the regular packaging is great for multitasking because it’s resealable. I also find a little goes a long way, and I get way more than the stated 4 uses out of one package. I love how they don’t dry down completely, and don’t have that cracked tight feeling that some clay masks have. The consistency is also incredibly smooth, and it glides onto the face easily. The instructions stated to leave the mask on for 15 minutes. I was doing some laundry at the same time and left the masks on for almost 25. They didn’t dry down fully when with the additional time. These masks are easy to rinse off, provided you use warm water. Colder water did absolutely nothing LOL. When it makes contact with warm water, the clay turns to the consistency of a cream and comes off nicely. The only downside is that these have fragrance, and I noticed it the entire time. I wasn’t too bothered, but it did have a floral type of smell that I thought was a little unnecessary.
Pink clay - this is designed to unify and brighten the skin. I’m not exactly sure what unifying means, but I’m assuming it’s meant to say that it’ll even out your skin tone? Anyways, I did find when I washed it off that my skin did feel much fresher and brighter. Unlike other clay masks, my skin did feel hydrated after which I like a lot. My skin is still very soft and still feels brighter than usual, just over 12 hours later. A for the pink clay!
Green clay - this one is to purify and minimize pores. It does have an exfoliant in it, so if your skin is feeling particularly sensitive, I’d recommend the grey clay one instead (which I also love and is for mattifying and balancing oil, but doesn’t have physical exfoliants). That being said - it’s a mask so once it’s applied, the physical exfoliant really didn’t have any impact? My skin feels very soft after using this, and my pores are a little less noticeable. The main benefit is that my pores feel less congested. I would prefer this one to not have the exfoliant texture because I feel it’s an unnecessary potential irritant, but I didn’t notice it when it was on.
Coconut hair mask - I love these!!! Sometimes if I know I’m not going anywhere during the day on a lazy weekend, I’ll do it in the morning and rinse it out at night (so it’s still on for 8-10 hours). I slept with this last night and then rushed off to a hot yoga class and washed it out after. The smell isn’t super coconutty to me, but it does smell tropical. The consistency is a nice lotion. I used an entire package and that was enough to cover all of my medium length hair generously. The cap is adorable and worked well. I’m always nervous that I’ll ruin my pillowcases or sheets with sleeping masks, but I have no problem with this one. I have a lot of fine hair, so I do find when I sleep with it, that my hair gets tangly the next morning and it’s kind of a pain to wash it out, but that’s also because overnight it turns my hair into a crazy lions mane somehow (for reference - the clay masking pic was my hair before I applied the hair mask last night, and the photo of just my hair was this morning LOL). I find my hair does feel like it has a thick filmy residue on it, so I unfortunately will never be one of the lucky ladies who can use leave in conditioners or hair masks. I never liked hair masks to be honest, but on a more personal note, about a year ago I got out of a very long term relationship, and I’ve finally been ready to start dating again, so my hair has been through more heat styling tools in the last month and a half than the last 2 years combined 😂 so this SC masks have been a godsend for reparation. The coconut one is my go to because it’s for nourishment and reparation of the hair fibres, but next up I may pick up some Shea ones which are for preventing split ends and breakage. A+++
