Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

Thanks @lmaster ! I just love The Ordinary and the fact that you can customize your skincare routine according to your skin type! I have 23 different TO products 🤦🏻‍♀️ ! Some I use regularly and others are for occasional use! They have so many products to choose from!

If you go to their website they have more than 23 products @lmaster ! It’s unfortunate that Sephora doesn’t carry the whole line ! I also wish that they had the Hylamide line of products ! Both are great and not expensive compared to other brands! ❤️❤️❤️

Love that Origins Drink Up mask! It really does just smell soo good! 🥑 Yay, for A+ masking!

Thanks @Shosh85 ! I love to layer my serums like the Koreans do! This technique is quite effective for my “ old “ skin 😜 ! Once I finish the small size tube of the Origins Drink Up Intensive overnight mask I’ll buy the FS one, I enjoy it so much! Did you try the new 10 min version with apricot & Swiss glacier water before? I usually buy the smaller sizes to try masks but the 10 min one only comes in the FS tube, I just want to make sure that you enjoyed it, if you have used it! I trust your reviews! ( others also that post in this thread )

@keana1 I own the apricot one, but still haven't tried it yet. I'm trying to make a dent in some of my already opened products first, but I've heard so many great reviews on it, including from @eshoe, and I'm excited to try it out! The scent is probably what I'm most excited for though! 😂😉

Wow! These are some great products @keana1! 🙂 I love how you incorporate them into AM and PM masking sessions. That PTR is a favorite of mine and I like The Ordinary The Buffet a lot - its so nice to have so many good-for-you-skincare ingredients in that one serum - takes the guess work out of what to apply to my skin when I'm pressed for time or too tired.

I love Buffet for the same reason @itsfi ! It contains so many great ingredients and works really well! Overnight masks are also perfect when I don’t have time for my multi-step skincare routine or don’t feel well!

@keana1 I did sleep good (but still had to have melatonin to settle my mind) my body was relaxed but my mind, as usual was still multi tasking. Luckily, if the minis wake up in the middle of the night, its because they're sick & it doesn't happen too much. Do not miss those days. 🤗🧟‍♀️

I’m glad that you managed to sleep well @sonnydee ! I also use melatonin, on occasion to help me sleep! I understand too well about having a brain that overthinks 24 hours a day! If I’m not thinking in English, I’m thinking in French ! LOL 😂

Sounds like some great masking @keana1! I love the shape of that little spatula, it’s different than any others I’ve seen. 

The Mario Badescu mask sounds more and more like something I should try at some point. I like the thought of an easy wash-off! I used. Mask last night that was SUCH a pain to remove and it helps me appreciate those that aren’t (and sheet masks😉).

Thanks @eshoe ! The spatula is great! One side is for massaging the eye area, the other side obviously is for scooping up the gel without having to put fingers in the jar. I love it when a spatula is included with a product ❤️ . Sorry about last night, I didn’t have time to read your review(s) ! You should definitely try the MB Super Collagen Mask, it’s so inexpensive that you won’t regret tossing it if it doesn’t work out for you! It can be used regardless of your skin type! 😉

💜 needed my lavender tonight for favorites week. Finished off the I Dew Care Berry Bubbly lavender colored mask. I'm going to miss that mask so fun! Then left Dewytree Lavender sheet mask on for a full hour...I was multi-tasking off course & right before I got into bed for the night, I applied my Bite Agave mask in you guessed it, lavender. ohhhhh such a relaxing masking session 😉💜
