Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni

I didn't know it was a new line, @itsfi. I love the very thin masks and am going to check out other ones from this line. I love the little tab on the side, looks just like it's meant for a masking library 😉

I wanted to get in on the snail goodness so found this one to try. Fit was decent a little small in the nose area. No special scent. Just a typical face mask. I liked the way my face looked after I took it off.  A little lump. However the hydration was not lasting.  It absorbed nicely and the tackiness went away but my face needed more so I used a moisturizer and the Huxley overnight mask to lock it in. 

Huxley mask is average. I’ve used it before. It does the job nothing extra spectacular but nothing to avoid. Scent is nice and subtle. Face was hydrated and soft this morning.

Yay for giving snail goodness a try @GalPalVal17! 🙂 I completely understand that it can be a turn off. Do you think it would be something you'd try again or will be it one and done for the snail? I have this snail mask and am happy to know what to expect; thank you! Good to know about the Huxley scent - some of their products are too heavily fragranced for me so I'm always a little cautious, but the scent on this one sounds like it could work.

H is for "Herb in Nude, Hydrating Care" and Hydro

We Bare Bears X Missha Herb In Nude Sheet Mask ~Hydrating Care~

This is a cellulose sheet mask that is SO thin, it is see-through and even took my husband a while to notice I even had a mask on! 😂 It was drenched, but not dripping with serum and had a nice, clean and fresh scent. The fit was pretty good – a little too long at the chin and just a bit too wide. It was so comfortable to wear, that I forgot I was wearing it, and ended up having it on for almost an hour. When I removed it, there was still a little serum left on my face that I patted into my skin and was a little tacky. The serum and it's tackiness absorbed pretty quickly though, and my face felt soft and smooth and my skin was well hydrated. 

I would definitely use this one again and it gets an A from me 👍

Dr. Jart Shake & Shot Rubber Mask – Hydro

This comes with two packets and a spatula. You are supposed to dump the two packets into the cup it comes in, put the lid on, and while plugging the hole at the top with your finger, you shake it all up. I shook it only a few times, when I heard the sloshing sound it was making had stopped. I opened it up and it appeared to have mixed pretty well. I used the spatula and spread a thick layer on my face – and was able to use up the whole thing. I still think the baby face on the top was a bad idea, (not only because it's creepy😂) but because it makes it hard to scrape the mask off of after you've shaken it up. @itsfi and I recently discussed how it would've been SO much better if they just left out the face and replaced it with a smooth dome top –  and it would look more like a "seven-eleven slurpee," as itsfi mentioned. Which to me, would be much more cute and enticing. 😆

It had a clean and fresh scent and had a comfortable and slightly cool feel the entire time. After about 20 minutes it had set up and was able to remove it in one big piece. There was a couple tiny bits that were left behind, and easily came off with just a quick rub of my finger. My face looked less dull, felt hydrated, my skin was incredibly soft and smooth and I had a nice glow! It took me such a long time to finally try this one and I'm glad I did! It's much easier to use than all the other mix-it-yourself masks I've used were and had such great results! The only negative I could say is the price. I'll be buying another one for sure, but will probably wait for the next sale! I give this one an A 👍

It's definitely satisfying when the peel-off-type masks come off in one peice – I think thickness is the key. 😉 The next one of these I want to pick up is the brightening one. I'm super surprised I liked it so much!😂
