Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe
Remove clay/difficult masks in the shower to keep towel clean and removal easy	itsfi/BIC
Use an HA serum prior to trying a mask with alcohol high on the ingredients list	keana1
Use a Makeup Eraser to remove wash-off masks	lmaster

After @itsfi    recommendation earlier I used the PTR firming gel! It really did ball up the dead skin immediately so kinda gross but mostly cool! I really liked it! 

After I used first oil wrap sheet mask. Just awful I hate it. I did not enjoy the smell  and the fit was bad. Plus the mask itself was so hard and scratchy. (also I feel super dumb hah but I couldn’t figure out if I was supposed to peel the plastic layer off? I did but it was hard to get off the mask - so hard I questioned whether I should have ). I don’t think I used this right 

Also tried out my new unicorn body butter. Sad to report I did not enjoy it. Love love the smell and looks so pretty but it’s so hard to rub in and super greasy

@Kim888 Thanks for your review. I too have this mask and was eyeing it. will def let you know if i have a similar experience. Sorry it didnt work out for you. That PTR gel sounds great esp after reading yours and @itsfi  review. something to keep an eye out for.

Your body butter does look really pretty @Kim888, too bad it isn't working out as intended, but at least you can look at it and smell it?  Glad the PTR worked so well.  Everyone seems to love it, I may need to add it to my sale list!

@Kim888 I would've bought the unicorn body butter just because of how pretty it looked! – too bad it was a dud! 

Everyone on here seems to love that PTR Firmx – I think I just may put that on my next order 😉

Oh nooooooo @Kim888! I did that with a Leaders’ biocellulose mask, the first one I tried from the brand...applied the entire thing to my face and took it off after a minute or so, wrote a review about how it was one of the worst-fitting masks ever. Then @itsfi gently asked if I removed both protective layers😂 

Sorry about the scent. I have that one, it’s the chamomile? Roman chamomile doesn’t have the best scent. I have the 8 flower mask from this line and love it. Thanks for setting my expectations about this one;)

Sadly, yes @heartsmyface. I still laugh at myself for that, but so annoyed for wasting such a good mask!

@eshoe, I imagine it happens to everyone. I know it’s happened to me...multiple times!! And yeah, it happens with the good masks too! 😑 It’s not like it happens with a gross mask where you think “oh, bummer. I can’t try out deer antler velvet. My loss.” 😂

Oh you’re definitely not alone, @Kim888! These have just one side, but yeah it can trick you. I’m going to try mine hopefully this weekend now, I’m really curious about the scent.

@eshoe  I think it will be one of those love it or hate it things. Also I was already so frustrated so that I wasn't inclined to give it any leeway for sure

@Kim888  Ha, I’ve done that before with a really thin hydrogel mask😂. I didn’t know there was a super thin mesh coating that was super scratchy. The serum was amazing and I did figure it out eventually.  How was the serum in this one?
