Perhaps you're right @itsfi ! I thought for sure my skin would be able to handle that since I'm not new to acids, but since it was a different type I can see how.that could have been irritating. I'll have to avoid that one and stick with my Alpha hydroxy acids and Beta hydroxy acids 💗💗
@bakeamuffin, I just had a thought (it happens every so often - hahaha! 😂🤣😂). Are you using the DE retinol product? Do you think your skin may be more sensitive to acids because of the A Passioni?
@itsfi That's a good point!! I was reading that a lot of things don't combine well with retinols. @bakeamuffin
I haven't been using A-passioni much, I last applied it over a week ago but that still could be a contributing factor since retinols can be quite strong and my skin is sensitive. @itsfi tha k for sharing your brain with me, you're a smart cookie ❤❤
Anytime @bakeamuffin; anytime. Heehee! 🙂 The nuggets of wisdom from everyone on this thread has helped me a lot - lots of good advice and tips and tricks on here! 🙂 And lots of things to add to my list of things to try! LOL!
@bakeamuffin Oh no! So sorry to hear your skin didn't like it! Is your face doing ok now? Have you had reactions to fruit extracts before?
@Shosh85 the redness is calming down and fading slowly, thank you for asking 💗
Not like this, that I can think of! Heavily fragranced products make my face itch and sometimes burn, but this is supposed to contain less tha 1% of synthetic fragrance, and I didn't see perfume or fragrance listed. I recently learned that fruit extracts are similar to essential oils, their very strong and potent, and can sometimes cause irritation or contact dermatitis. It could totally be something else in the mask, I really wonder which ingredient it was 🔎
@bakeamuffin I'm happy to hear your face is doing ok! I'd be interested to exactly what caused it?! The first ingredients are avocado fruit extract and avocado fruit. It also says it has PHA... are you sensitive to PHA? 🤔
ETA: I just realized @itsfi already asked about this. Ha! I think that's probably a good guess!
I’ve actually been using this Green Tea sleeping pack by Medi Flower all week. I’ve been working on finishing some products so I can investigate some newer ones so I’ve been bringing the product down my neck and chest to help speed things along😛. It’s got a nice fresh scent and isn’t too thick a gel. It had the consistency of aloe. I can still feel it on inthe morning but it’s not as all night moisturizing as I would prefer. I still feel it’s very decent for the $20 price point.
I love your idea to help speed things along @heartsmyface! 💗 I have so many masks I want to try but need to finish up a few before opening new jars! 😆
Sounds like a good mask @heartsmyface, is ‘sleeping pack’ another term for sleeping mask? I sometimes see the term ‘pack’ on sheet mask packages but don’t know what exactly that means😄
Yeah it’s the same thing. I just assumed you were meant to pack it on your face before bed but maybe something got lost in translation. Not sure what happened to the photo I posted with my review but meh. @eshoe
@heartsmyface That one sounds great!! Good for you, for trying to get through your stash! 👍😃
@Shosh85 It’s harder than you might think cause you ladies are turning me into new masks all the time. Plus I have maskdar when I go anywhere. That doesn’t help.
@heartsmyface Actually, I know exactly how hard it is! Haha! "Maskdar" is a perfect word for it! 👌😂
Sounds like something I wouldn't mind for my neck and decolletage! @heartsmyface
Exactly! May as well keep it all fresh and young and not just the face! @missjeanie
G is for Green Grapes
The Saem Natural-Tox Green Grape Sheet Mask
This is a cotton sheet mask they describe as, "soft embossed," which looks sort of like a thicker type of mesh or gauze. It was saturated with plenty of serum that had a very pleasant scent, like green grapes freshly picked straight from a vineyard. It had a pretty good fit, just a bit too big around the forehead area and only slightly long at the chin – which I thought was nice, because it seems most cotton masks are almost always way too long at the chin! The mask was comfortable, adhered very well to my skin and had a nice, cool feel the entire time I had it on, about 40 minutes. When I removed it, my face felt refreshed and my complexion looked clearer and less dull. The serum that was leftover was just slightly tacky, but it didn't take long for that to absorb and my face was left feeling soft and smooth. This is one I'd repurchase again and give it an A!

@byme4u I'm always attracted to the pretty packaging. 😉 I'm hoping to buy the others in the line as well 👌
