Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

I’m doing it now and zero chunks in this one even after sitting open for a few hours.  It’s just thick and white like a face cream. It feels good on.  Conforms well.  The baby powder scent is alright but I would prefer if it just smelled milky.  I wonder what would have caused yours to be chunky.  @lmaster

That's so strange! @heartsmyface  I was sure hoping it wasn't actually curdled milk,,, now idk what the heck could of caused it,,, but I did leave the package outside in the mailbox for 2 days in -15 degrees...🤔 Wonder if that had anything to do with it...

@eshoe 😂😂😂 the chunks omg it was really weird, I was telling @heartsmyface  I didn't immediately see this chunky bits I'll call it, until after I pulled the mask out and unfolded it to apply, then I seen 3 dime sized chunks sitting on it, they squished down fairly well 🤦

@lmaster, the chunky bits of milk are a little concerning but the results sound nice. Milk has some great skincare benefits and there are some good ingredients in this mask. Was this mask part of a sub box?

It makes perfect sense that you wouldn’t expect something like that @lmaster! We don’t expect chunks in a glass of milk🥛; why would we expect it in our sheet mask?! Props to you for trying it! 👍🏼⭐️

@lmaster I've seen Goat Milk masks before and wanted to buy them, but have only seen them in packs and wasn't willing to commit to that many! Haha! I have heard Goats Milk is great for the skin though! It is loaded with vitamins and minerals and also contains Alpha Hydroxy Acids, (AHA's) including lactic acid. There's all kinds of Goats Milk soaps, body washes and lotions too. While the curdly chunks doesn't sound preferable, the results do!! Nice job going through with it! Also, I believe "C14-22 Alcohols" are the good, fatty alcohols! When I was researching alcohols I read up on that one too. 😉👍

@lmaster I guess this is more of a mask that you focus on the outcome and not how you got it.. lol. Chunky milk essence. Loved your description. Glad it worked out despite the few negatives.

I tried out this little combo yesterday. Green tea moisture mask with Glow Recipe Avocado sleep mask and Green Apple/Lime lip sleep mask. 

The mask was decent. It had a lot of serum on it but didn't drip. The fit was ok. The top half fit well but the mouth hole was large. I had to squish the part between the nose and mouth so it wouldn't slip onto my lips and the same with my chin area so it would get some serum. At least it stayed when I did that. Left if on for about 25 mins or so and it wasn't dry so could have gone longer but I usually mask at night during the week and it was getting close to falling asleep time. I wanted to let it soak up so I could apply the Avocado mask to lock in the moisture. There was tackiness but I'm sure I didn't wait long enough to know if it would all get absorbed before falling asleep. I did wake up with hydrated skin which was the goal. So happy for that.

I love your theme here, @GalPalVal17! I haven’t read through all of the comments, but wondering if you applied a regular moisturizer before the Avocado Melt to help with the tackiness? I’ve used that sheet mask before and agree, it’s not bad, not great, cute packaging though😄
