@KatKass92 Everyone's skin is different. I was in the market for a new cleanser not too long ago and took a look the Glow Recipe one your referring to and decided to go with YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant CleanserInstead as I was afraid the artifical fragrance in Glow would irritate my sensitive skin.

@cony2004 Two weeks is a long time to react to a wash-off product. I'd suggest getting a refund if you can & trying a mild cleanser you know you won't react to until your skin calms down. If you're looking for clearer skin, maybe try a gentle non-foaming cleanser with leave-on products &/or a mask meant for exfoliation. Good luck! :-)

@SylviaB20 You've had some great suggestions, especially the zinc sunscreen. I'll only add that it's more common to have reactions on the face than body, so you're likely reacting to the sunscreen base. Seeing an allergist would be ideal, but if you can't, look for sunscreens with zinc & as few ingredients as possible then patch test them for a few days. Good luck!

@celticdreamer30 You may also want to consider adding a hydrating toner to your routine. I have very sensitive skin and have recently fallen in love with MILK MAKEUP - Matcha Toner. I honestly can’t believe the huge difference it has made to my skin’s quality. I apply it after cleansing in the morning and evening and it quells any redness and irritation so fast.  My favourite cleanser isn’t on the lower price side, unfortunately, but I’ll mention it just in case: MURAD - Essential-C Cleanser. I use that in the mornings. In the evenings, I use SEPHORA COLLECTION - Cleansing & Exfoliating Wipes - Coconut Water to remove my makeup and cleanse my face. I know many will frown upon not using a full-on cleanser, but my skin just can’t handle it most of the time. The coconut water wipes allow me to remove my makeup thoroughly without upsetting my skin too much. The watermelon wipes are quite gentle as well. If my skin is oily, the yuzu wipes are great.  As for a non-greasy moisturizer that allows my skin to breathe and doesn’t break me out, my favourite is URBAN DECAY - Rehab Makeup Prep Hot Springs Hydrating Gel. They recommend using it before makeup, but I also use it before bed.  Hope this helps!

@LaughingLex I definitely rec their cleanser.  It's very gentle bu effective.  As for fighting acne, the other products I use from FAB are for anti-aging, so IDK how they would work for your skin.  FAB does have an anti-acne products, but I don't have any experienced with them.  I rec reading reviews on beautypedia's website and seeing what they say.   Overall for acne, I think using a BHA product would do you good (I only rec Paula's Choice) and spot treating with a benzoyl peroxide product would be helpful (I like Clean & Clear Persa-gel).  You can also consider using OTC Differin.  If you need more help, ask your MD for an Rx for Differin (it's a higher concentration).  Oil blotting sheets are also great to use for a temporary fix; they work best when used routinely.

I too have rosacea and there are a couple things I love that work great for me. Tarte Deep Dive cleansing gel, (and Tata Harper Nourishing cleansing oil if you do the double-cleanse thing) Tata Harper Hydrating Floral Essence as a toner, Herbivore Phoenix and Lapis face oil (I alternate the two) or Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate, Caudalie Vinoperfect serum, Dr Jart+ Tiger Grass Cicapair moisturizer. All these had an immediate positive effect on my skin and all but eliminated my rosacea. I can usually tell within one day if a product is going to make me break out or irritate my skin, so I never continue using something I have a sensitivity to.

I'll second the CeraVe suggestion. Some of their products such as the PM lotion have niacinamide which some people can get irritation from but they have many products without it such as their regular lotion and cream. I'd also recommend Vichy Mineral 89. It's not available at Sephora but it is at Ulta. Since it only has 11 ingredients I would assume you shouldn't have a reaction. And if you did (though hopefully not), it would help you narrow down what ingredient may be irritating your skin. Personally, I use Mineral 89 as a hydro boost and then put a lotion/cream type moisturizer on top. Good luck in your search!

Hi,Does anyone know when the CEO had a slight formulation change?  I was given it as a gift recently (not purchased from Sephora)  and noticed immediately that it was different from the Sephora sample I fell in love with that I received in July of this year.  I assume I was given an older formulation that still contained tangerine peel oil on the ingredients list and had slightly different other ingredients on the box. I unfortunately had an allergic reaction to this older formulation and can't use it now. I did not have the allergic reaction to my July sample which I attribute to the tangerine peel oil.  Any thoughts?

@Cheyanne77 I would say if you don’t need to buffer the Tretinoin, apply once your skin is dry after your toner. If you find your skin is getting too dried out or flaking, you can apply your moisturizer first. Regardless, I would use oil last. I typically wait 10-20 minutes between my steps on nights when I use tret. You can also start out buffering it, and then move to using it after toning once your skin gets used to it. I have had some facial oils break me out badly, and others were really wonderful, so I think it just depends on your skin. But if you continue to have break outs after using tretinoin for a few months, I would re-examine your moisturizer and oil. Hopefully your derm explained to you, but please start off using the tret slowly (1-2x a week), don’t use an acid toner before it, and make sure you’re using an SPF 30+ daily, even in the winter. Hope it works for you; it has really helped my skin.

Hi there!   I recommend checking out IT COSMETICS - Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream Oil-Free Matte with SPF 40 as it has been my go to foundation recently.  It's oil free, works well with sensitive skin, and provides many benefits for the skin such as SPF.   I hope this helps!   Best.   Steph

@thebabyduckAside from suggesting not wearing it as I strongly suspect you may be allergic to an ingredient in the foundation - what about putting a primer on your face first? So that it acts like a buffer between your skin and the foundation? I would go with a silicone based one like the original Make Up Forever.
