Foundation favorites?

Those with sensitive and/or acne-prone skin: what are some foundations that you notice are safe on your skin and don’t increase acne? Is it better to avoid medium to full coverage foundations?

@VirgoCap94 , everyone's skin can behave a bit differently.  I would see what samples/deluxe sizes are available for a product and try it that way.  

I feel like Cover Fx is a great line for sensitive skin.  Most of their foundations are on sale at Sephora (sadly the line's leaving Sephora), but they aren't gone for good.

For years, I also used bareMinerals bareMinerals Original Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Warm Tan .

Also, most products can be built up to the level you need, so there's that.

From my experience, full coverage foundations practically smother your skin. I would recommend a BB or CC cream. 

Also, always use gentle cleansing products. If you use drying products, your skin will secrete more oil causing additional acne. 

I had severe acne for years. I finally realized that all the products for acne prone skin was making my acne so much worse.
