Body butter or body cream

hello . I am new in this group. I would like to ask if what is better? Body cream or body butter? Thank you!!!

Thanks. Guess lotions are still the best right? hehe. I didn't know that, cause I just encountered "body butter" and I got confused.

@thenewerme  Lotions are different entirely. A Pharmacist once told me that lotions are creams, cut in half with water.

Body butters are generally thicker. They sit on the surface a bit longer without being absorbed so in essence they reduce a bit of moisture loss. One isn’t better then the other, it’s personal preference @thenewerme
