Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

@NatureGirlSD Yup! I honestly don't think that Ulta's Marketing Team really thought the Diamond tier through before rolling it out. I believe that they underestimated how many customers would reach the level. Now they're scrambling to offset the increased costs. I don't mind the samples being gone. They were lame.

It does seem like more people might have made Diamond than Ulta anticipated.  I saw a lot of people on Insta and Reddit talking about making last-minute purchases in December to make the Diamond tier, so the Diamond membership probably grew a lot in the past month.  I don't mind the change because I always buy enough to get free shipping anyway, but I hope this is the last of the changes to the Diamond rewards.

I hadn't noticed that $25 buy-in for the "free gift".  I was guilty of placing an order for like a $1 mask so I could get the freebie, and then I just paid for shipping on it, thinking of the freebie as like an $8 or $9 item.

Ugh, I guess you have to add that Platinum perk for Redken and then remove it, to make the $50 threshold work. I tried it just now with those Bliss gels. This morning it didnt work with the same skincare items I had which was This works and the ulta love your skin @itscarin

@Buootiful I ended up getting it to work with 4 Tony Moly masks so I paid $54.  Sucks because I really would have rather had the under eye patches for my hubby, but I'll wait until the skyn iceland eye patches go on sale next wednesday  😄

For some reason the under eye patches didn't count as skin care I guess?  But I got tony moly sheet masks that did count as skin care.  Also, lip balm and deodorant do not count as skin care.

While I was trying to build a $50 cart, the juice beauty diamond perk sold out so I ended up getting the other one.  Definitely a disappointing platinum perk day.
