Ulta points refresher (because yes, it is that complicated):
Item #1 - $53.50
Item #3 - $108.50 (and is eligible for a certain item/brand 5x multiplier)
* There is also a 5x all purchase multiplier and you are platinum so you get 1.25x
Total Spent - $162
Base Points Earned - 162
Platinum .25x Earned - 41 (162 * .25 = 40.5, and rounding up)
5x All Purchases Earned - 648 (it ends up being 4x because you don't count the base points)
5x Item/Brand Earned - 434

Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.
Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.
The product id is the number given to the item in the URL. So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number. If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta.
It's not a search, but the direct url to the page.
Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar. It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204 Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.
My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:
(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward. E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward. Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase. Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

Apparently some prestige coupons were emailed out (nothing here, of course 🙄). People are reporting $10 off (no minimum), $10 off $10, $10 off $50, or $15 off $50, through next Saturday, 5/29. Someone also received a 20% off ("We miss you") through Wednesday, 6/2.
The only thing I've gotten is that generic 20% off one item that's non-prestige coupon which is weird since I haven't placed an order with them in over a month. I'll take a closer look at the email I got, but I pretty sure there was nothing on there. I wish they'd get their stuff together - I rather dislike the random coupon generator.
@niki172 I hate how they bury coupons in emails. Not once have I opened an email with products I’m uninterested in and become interested in after hunting for a coupon!

I was going to mention it would be helpful ppl could say what their email said, since I dont even click on them unless the title's appealing...or sometimes I overlook them, w/all the other emails...then there's the "20% off!!!" ones they send all the time, and I'm like "oh?" 😃 but then its just the cc, again... 🙄😒😑
@ohheyitscindyk Haha, I'm not receiving ANY emails from Ulta because their system screwed up my account (again). I stopped getting Ulta email sometime in April but didn't notice until this month, when I realized I'd gotten no direct news about Diamond Perk Day. Customer service has "reset" my account (again) so it'll probably be June before I start getting Ulta email again. 🙄 I poke through this thread and think "gosh, look at all the extra discounts I'm missing... and I'm a Diamond member... thanks a lot, Ulta!"

@WinglessOne I'm sorry to hear you are having that trouble. It took nearly a year for my account to get fixed. I wish I could give you solid advice on how to speed that along, but I was given so many reasons along the way I can't tell what worked.
Thanks @Ispend2much6 @ohheyitscindyk This is the third time it’s happened to me. 😡 I don’t remember how long it took to resolve the other 2 times, but I’m about to email Ulta again to complain about offers I’m missing. Since they know their online account system is glitchy, they should also send all offers—including targeted offers—to the app’s inbox. I know some customers don’t have or want the app (I have it but rarely use it), but at least Ulta could build in some useful redundancy there. That’s be a bare minimum and proactive way to help affected customers.
I once had a bigger separate issue where I unintentionally had 2 accounts: one was my original member ID number from looooong ago, but the other was newer, and I’m not sure how it was created... Maybe a store SA tried to look up my old account at the register, couldn’t find it, and I wound up with a new one, but I don’t recall signing up more than once... huh. Anyway, none of my in-store purchase points were counting toward the right account, so I kept getting email offers for the wrong member tier. Customer service quickly fixed that. So I don’t understand why Ulta has such an issue fixing dropped email addresses, which seems like a less complicated glitch. 🙄
@WinglessOne How frustrating, I hope it gets fixed ASAP! That's happened to me twice now & I really don't understand it. No other retailer I subscribe to seems to have this issue.
