Ulta points refresher (because yes, it is that complicated):

Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

My package was delivered early, for once! I think it's because I also had a Sephora package, so UPS decided to deliver my Ulta package as well, instead of transferring it to the post office.

@ohheyitscindyk oh, that is a nice one! I'm always skeptical of the mystery bags because one they did 3 or 4 bags ago was complete crap, but the last few have been well done. Now I'm sad I missed it...I'm on the hunt for new shampoo and conditioner, and that Redken set looks like one I'd like to try lol. Congrats!

(Pretty sure I have everything else in that bag except the argan oil though, so I guess it's still good I skipped it. 😋)

@RGbrown I'm skeptical, too, but I really had to place an order & no way was I going to purchase enough for the $175 bag lol. I have half of the products already, but I'm still pleasantly surprised 🙂 I'm excited to see what everyone else got!

Has anybody had an order ship from the Harrisburg, Pa warehouse lately? All of my orders seem to be shipping from the Indianapolis, In warehouse as of late. It seems to add an extra day to when I could expect to receive my order.

My orders usually ship from Harrisburg which makes sense since I live in Pittsburgh. But I've sometimes noticed that if my order has a large or multiple gwp(s), they'll ship from Indianapolis or Dallas. And they all come UPS/SmartPost.

@Loretta55 Ah! Seeing all three warehouse locations finally explained why all of my orders to CA take forever, plus an extra day for UPS to drop them at the PO for delivery.

@phantompenguinx Nice if they have one in CA! I'm in CA & the minimum I've seen is 6 days for receipt, including the day for the PO to deliver. (I have two pending from Dallas.)

@NatureGirlSD When I first started shopping at Ulta my orders shipped from Bolingbrook,Illinois. I also noticed some orders did ship from Dallas. Originally it would take a week to receive my orders. Whenever my orders shipped from Pa. sometimes I received them the next day because UPS decided not to transfer them to USPS.

I wish mine would ship out of Indiana...most of mine come from Dallas, which is considerably further away from me. I do get the occasional box from the PA warehouse, but it's usually just one or two items in an order that got split, so I assume TX was OOS.

@Loretta55I think the Indy warehouse is larger than the harrisburg one, or they are shifting inventory for it to be the main central/east wh.

I've had one order ship out from harrisburg back in march, with zero gwp.

Also one order in feb, which is surprising because it was that super platinum gwp day with the david beckham gwps.

Got the new ad in the mail today for 6/3 - 6/23.
