Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

Anyone else try to get the GoT vault only to find it sold out in minutes? Anyone know if there will be a restock or if I should grab the pieces I want now? Super bummed

@Indy701 It sold out. Thanks for tagging me on this, but I'm over it. If UD and their authorized retailers don't do a proper restock, I won't buy it. It's that simple. One would think that UD, whom many in the makeup community consider to be "over," wouldn't reduce their customers to have to scramble and scavenger for their products.

@maxima I understand what you are saying. I feel so many limited edition releases are a huge mess and it turns you off of a brand. I also find this one odd as I feel they should have released it a week or two before the first episode. Now any one who ordered it will get it maybe halfway through the last season if they are lucky.

@Indy701 I've always had pretty good luck with limited edition releases. This release is grating on my nerves because it's the only thing I've wanted all year - even though it's straight up mediocre, the shadow shades are repromotes from Born to Run, the lipsticks are repromotes from Naked Heat and the packaging is impractical. But I'm a GoT fan and no other launches so far this year have interested me. It's all been so redundant. I also didn't expect so much hassle to get it.

@maxima I didn’t get born to run because I didn’t like the packaging so I didn’t realize they were so close together.  I did notice that one lipstick is basically scorched which made me happy though as it’s my favorite lipstick color. The others are okay but of course I’m buying them 100% for the packaging. I guess they (and many others) are running out of colors. I didn’t think it would be such a pain either. I was up at midnight to check ulta, 3 to check Sephora, and 6:3am got Macy’s. That is ridiculous. Luckily I was so pumped still from last nights GoT that the chance of sleeping much was already slim.

I managed to get mine from Ulta, but now I'm wishing I'd gotten from Macy's (didn't even realize they'd have the vault), that discount and ebate would have been nice chunk to save!

I got mine at Macy's too about an hour ago! So excited, but nervous to get an email saying that my order has been canceled or something. Almost too good to be true type of thing.

i get a limited supply, but on top of Ulta changing the points on points and other things lately I’m super bummed. Thinking using the points now is good idea vs waiting for worse conditions!

@mermaid805The thing that makes me the most angry is that Urban Decay and other brands do this stuff on purpose to increase demand. It's in poor taste to intentionally have your customers engaging in some Hunger Games-esque shopping frenzy. I'm not jumping through hoops about makeup. I think I'm going to hold off for at least another couple of days. If it doesn't come back in stock....f*ck it.

@maxima i hear that %100! I felt a little foolish ordering it to be honest, but I’d been waiting for this collection for about two months and knew I’d be regretting it if I missed it altogether. I’m especially nervous about that eye pallets.... and I completely agree about the BS hunger games-esque BS! I thought it was in especially poor taste they released it mid-air for a lot of fans! Just wait until the actual scheduled time, don’t pre-release it! Nothing ever seems to come onto the Ulta site before 12:00 their time, except today! 

Ive been watching Ulta deteriorate for a little bit. I had about 8k points saved over a year of shopping and I spent most of them in the last few weeks. Not to say I’m “bailing ship”... but I think I’m bailing the ship!

@mermaid805 I was on Ulta's site since 10:30 EST. I kept refreshing the page periodically. It did go live at midnight and sold out by 12:05 a.m. Not kidding. I had my cart ready and planned on redeeming an even 4000 points. But what messed me up was that I had a 20% prestige coupon and after it was applied, it brought my total down to around $220. So by the time I grabbed a MAC lipglass and LG concealer, the vault was sold out. I didn't expect it to go that fast. Then again, Ulta sent prestige coupons out and people put them to good use.

@mermaid805   Ulta sold out in about 4 minutes, Sephora was up for about 20 minutes before selling out. Macys should go up within the next few hours.  

I dont expect there there will be any true vault restocks other than the release of inventory from cancelled orders.

FYI Philosophy fans, if you have the multipliers they do indeed stack. 5x+4x(diamond) on philosophy= 8.5x and 5x+5x+4x on Ballet Rose =12.5x. Add an extra point to each if you use an ultimate rewards card. Woah.@RGbrown you were spot on. It wasn't showing last night but it's working now! That is a sweet gwp as well, contains a triple acid peel.
