Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

@Loretta55 I agree -- I bought the sheet mask as part of this digital campaign for influenster a few years ago.  I never got reimbursed by influencer because they said my paypal wasn't properly set up (that's bs).  But anyway, the mask was very ho hum.

That said, i've had samples of the microexfoliant before, and IDK, it's dry sand you have to mix with water.  Very difficult to apply correctly.  Free is free but I'd never actually buy this.  Maybe someone else has the magic tip for how to mix this right and make it work though?

@itscarin have you gotten much from them?  I signed up a while ago, but didn't really start 'doing' it until a few months ago.  been pleased so far!!  I just got my first full-size item, a philosophy perfume!! 😍🤗

@treestar86 Nice!  I signed up in maybe 2016 or 2017, and I have received some nice packages from them.  The nicest thing I got from them was like a whole set of drunk elephant products.  It was about $250 worth of full-sized items and I got that from them in December of 2019.  I can't remember all the things I've received, but some of them are: a Bobbi Brown eyeshadow palette (it sucked); a bare minerals concealer stick (also bad); a guerlain face oil; biossance face oil (which I actually like and use); and a package of kleenex.  I have no idea how I got roped into the kleenex campaign.  

I haven't gotten very many snaps lately or questions.  I see a lot of people on reddit talking about how they're trying to increase their odds of getting selected for a campaign by filling out a bunch of reviews and interacting on the app, however, from my experience, that stuff doesn't get you in for campaigns.  I never do reviews on the app unless required by a campaign.

@civ2ru Free is free.  It's just that there's no way in which I can really get excited about a box of kleenex.  Now if it was paper towels, my girls would've gone nuts: both the cat and dog love tearing them apart when given the opportunity!

@itscarin that's awesome!! yeah I signed up maybe year or two ago, but wasn't really paying attention or answering their emails right away, lol.  also apparently you need the app, and my old phone wasn't cutting it I guess, so when I finally got a new one is when I could finally do it, lol.

I just wondered, cuz I've seen a lot of ppl say they got a lot when they first started, but not so much lately...so I was just wondering if that's how it is, or bc those ppl tend to stop doing it and that's why they stop getting stuff.  either way, enjoying it so far! lol. 😀

yeah, I don't think that stuff matters much either.  I wonder, though, if they can somehow see what/how much you buy?  cuz I tend to buy perfume a lot, or at least those are the "priciest" items I buy, and all I've gotten so far is perfume (2 samples before this one) lol.

@treestar86 I’m surprised you got boxes without social media. I was under the impression that your impact score mattered. When I first started I think it took me about 6 mo to get a box. There have been times where I get bombarded with “you’re in surveys” but don’t actually get picked for a campaign. I think I get about 2-3 campaigns per year.  I haven’t had one since July so I’m starting to wonder where my next campaign is and/or if I’ll ever get one. 

I just remembered I also got one for kopari deodorant and one for fresh when they came out with the strawberry scrub. I actually repurchased both of those.

@itscarin  yeah, I didn't know if I'd get anything either, but figured might as well try it.  maybe they changed it, since a lot of the 'campaigns' don't involve posting anything, so maybe that's why I've been getting stuff?  lol. yeah, I've gotten a lot of surveys too, but I'll just have to wait and see if I get anything else I guess, haha. 😊

With the DHC powder, I sprinkle a bit on my damp hand, then lather it up before putting it on my face. It can be tricky to get the right amount of dampness some days, but it's a really nice clean when I get it right! I'm assuming the Dermalogica works in a similar manner

I didn't even jump on the last one, and the last one that looked good that I really wanted was the l'occitane one from Dec. that I missed out on, of course. now I feel especially snubbed since it's my bday, and perk day's pretty much always on the first monday of the month, but nope! not this month.
