Ulta points refresher (because yes, it is that complicated):

Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

And a few more brands that may have skincare and bath crossover: every man jack, duke Cannon, pacifica. All 3 items pictured overlapped for bath and skincare. 

For makeup and skincare I've seen primers and mist/setting spray sometimes work too.

You kinda have to dig through to find items that work and play around. Best of luck.

@RGbrown @treestar86 seems like lip balms and treatments are a good place to look for crossover stacking today. Seems like quite a few count towards makeup and skincare or makeup and bath.

Received my 20-piece sampler today (I chose “Glow Getters”) and it was disappointing. 3 downgrades from the photo (packets instead of deluxe tubes), which I could easily live with (or without) – but the biggest bummer is that FULL SIZE Hey Honey eye serum (0.5 oz, $37 value) was missing altogether! The only full size in the sampler, too.

Hope you get it in your shipment and can tell me all about how great it is. 😢

Got mine today, and had a few subs as well

I got packets instead of deluxe samples for the Indie Lee and Sunday Riley. Three items were missing: Derma E Overnight Peel, Hey Honey Eye Serum, and Peach & Lily Water Gel Moisturizer, though I did at least get three subs. I was looking forward to the Indie Lee and the P&L, so of course those were missing 😐

And here's a mystery sampler, if anyone is curious

Mine was missing the Kiehl’s gel cream moisturizer from the “skincare swearbys” and the step up gift was missing the Murad Vita C facial. Ulta did not even substitute and the 8 piece mystery gift only included 6 items. When I emailed Ulta, they offered a $3 GC 🙄 when I replied and asked Ulta to re-evaluate the CS rep said no can do, it was a free gift and that’s all they can value it at so I decided to escalate it by calling instead and I was offered a $15 GC.

@civ2ru   That sure sounds like a bait and switch deal.  Do you think you'll contact Ulta and ask for the full size to be sent to you?

I guess I'd better check mine.

@Ispend2much6 Oh, don’t want the hassle of pushing for the full size re-shipment, as it was part of a free GWP. I have too much stuff already, just didn’t have that eye serum and I was intrigued by it as under-eye primer. Was it included in your sampler? If it was, let me know sometime how you like it (whenever you get around to it).
