Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

Benefit skincare items combine with their GWP and the skincare bag. I can NEVER resist benefit bags, they're too darn cute. (Anyone able to attest to the eye cream? Had great reviews and that's cheap for high end eye cream!)

Needed a hair brush so threw that gwp in with a $3 purchase (love the "free with any purchase" finds)

And a ton of other stuff for the fiance, tons of gwp items to give away on my channel, and Eden and glitter primers for myself! (Honestly I need nothing..but I have points 😂)

I'm making a big order for the platinum perk, but I added a bunch of other freebies, including the brush, too! I'm getting a benefit kit for my mom, but they only have two freebies for benefit right now! The weekender bag looks cute; I'm sad to have missed out on that. Oh, my! Our Ulta purchases look very similar! I had $125 credit and spent a bit more to get the ginormous gift bag. I even got the American Crew for the hair brush since I'm a sucker for those deals too. 🙂

Before I placed that order, I'd received another of their ginormous gift bags with a $150 purchase. I just reached Ulta Platinum about a month ago, so it was my first time receiving something like that. 🙂

Now to get a little feel-good for the holidays and hopefully inspire others who haven't already thought of it, to donate the deluxe samples and full-size products that they won't use or gift to anyone.

While I was sitting there gawping at everything and hormonal, I went full Lifetime movie of the week and started feeling bad about having so much when so many have nothing.

Then I remembered gift drives from a former workplace for the Polinsky Children's Center, an emergency shelter for children ranging from newborn to 18-yrs-old, who've been separated from their familes in traumatic circumstances. The center's wishlists are broken down into groups including preteens, teen girls, and teen boys. I focused on the teen girls since they need things I stock up on when they go on sale, like personal hygiene products, hair care products & cosmetics, hair dryers & stylers, spa kits, & robes/fuzzy slippers. (I'm really uncertain what's age-appropriate for preteen girls as far as cosmetics or what personal hygiene products teen boys would use. Acne wash? Hair gel?)

So, the purchase I made after receiving that huge sample bag mainly included a few items I've wanted forever, but also a few things like body wash minis for the girls from Vitabath with a big GWP and the American Crew body wash mini with the hair brush GWP. I'm just bummed those 7-piece sample bags were in my cart for ages and out of stock not long before I placed my order. Afterward, to keep the warm fuzzy feelings going, I started adding items to remember for my next order that are on deep discount for a few more weeks.

I'm sorry this was so long, no preaching here, I just wanted to share a PMS-fueled epiphany and let you know how you too can become a beauty and hair product philanthropist with a local org, shelter, or agency. 😄

There was a time when I thought "a gal can never have too many makeup bags", but at this point in my life, I have come to realize that that little truism is a complete lie. It is absolutely possible to have entirely too many. 😄

That one is super cute though, and I love that style for my toiletries when traveling...but I rarely travel anymore, and recently swapped my ratty 10+ year old bag like that for the Kate Spade set we got from Ulta earlier this year. I almost kinda wish I wanted that bag more, but I don't, so I'm saving my pennies for whatever may come next weekend instead 😀

@RGbrown The thing about makeup bag is I can never have too many... I already have too much mu bags I’m not currently using but I’m always drawn to buying more makeup  bags... Especially Benefit makeup bags!!! They have the most cutest  bags/accessories ... can never have enough of em!! I have an obsession thing going on with benefit bags ... so cute to resist!  Lol 😂😂😁

For folks with multipliers, UD and NYX skincare should work for the gwp's + points, if you are interested, though I have not tested. There is only one Too Faced item classed as "skincare" on the site (lip primer), but it did NOT work for the skincare bags for me last night. 😕

Never mind...just played with everything skincare from NYX and UD...and *nothing* works for the bag from either brand 😕

BTW, I bought the glitters that had gone on 10x points for platinum. They look beautiful. They’re a Christmas present for my daughter, but if anyone is thinking about them, they look like a safe bet. I bought 5 colors. The holo ones look awesome!
