Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

That really sucks! I don't know if this is really the appropriate forum for your complaint though. It isn't ulta' s fault that your mail got stolen, and they lost all of the money from your first order on top of giving you $10. I mean it sucks about the GWP, but, it is fairly easy (assuming ulta is close) to return the item you bought for the gwp, then there is nothing lost. I have had only outstanding experiences with them. Maybe call back, plead your case again, and maybe they will give you something that you think is fair to make up for the gwp? 

PS: try to make whoever you talk to laugh, I swear it works! I emailed ulta about a messed up gwp and was very light and joking and they sent me  a $40 gc, I think I posted about it on here. Anyway, the person that read my complaint is probably used to people being less-than-awesome and I truly believe that's why they gave me so much for such a trivial complaint.

I couldn't heart your reply but I agree with you.  @mommiesgirl15 it sucks about your package but how is it Ulta's fault your mail got stolen or even their fault that the gwp was out of stock? It's not like they thought "Oh we better keep a back up in case her's gets stolen" And considering they "value" most gwps at $10, a $10 credit on top of replacing everything else is more than fair. What do you expect? I understand that's the reason you purchased something in the first place but you can return your purchase. And guaranteed you'll get your money back when you return the fragrance and you'll keep the free tumblers that they also replaced so you will have not lost a penny but will have gained free tumblers AND a free $10 credit. Sounds to me like you're the one befitting here. Also, how is Sephora so much better? They don't even offer gwp the way Ulta does so I'm not seeing your logic. Lastly, I do agree that the boxes could be more discreet instead of advertising where they're from; however, if your neighborhood has a problem with mail thieves, you can simply contact UPS and have any packages either held at a  location or require signature so they're not just left at your doorstep. I am sorry that you lost out on your gwp due to a thief, but Ulta has done more than enough to make up for something that wasn't even their fault. I'm also sorry if I sound like I'm lecturing, it's just frustrating when people feel entitled or try to take advantage of an already more than generous company who practically gives the store away. Too many complaints that are unwarranted and it ruins it for the rest of us.

Ulta kicks Sephora's a$$ so hard. Every now and again I'm tempted by their weekly wow's or whatever they call them, but I never end up ordering because of the terrible gwp options.One sample for your $25 purchase, and you can't combine it with any other discount?...lame. It's like, 1 sample that I can get from ulta with a whole bunch of others, with brand specific gwp's that dont require a code. I even have the flash shipping with sephora, but I'll still wait 1 more day to get my stuff from ulta, lol 🙂 the lady complaining got 2 gwp's for the same item, and is mad she only gets 1 and a $10 gc? Yank yank. Hey, did sephora ever give you so much free stuff for one item? Me thinks not...

@Christinacototally agree with you, i allowed my vib to expire last year, and i've only placed 1 order this year, they dont make it enticing to actually place an order haha i think we've just been super spoiled with ulta's gwps, my closet is overflowing lol

and with this lady, i feel bad that she's going through so much and the box theft just seemed to be a tipping point for her stress, but it felt like she was looking for a pity party. I had the same experience recently where my order was "delivered" but my box was no where to be seen. I contacted cs and got a gc for the amount of my order and i was more than pleased that they even did that for me. There are sucky people out there that take what isn't there's and I think ulta cs did what they could to try to make up for it. there's always risk when placing an order online

Ulta has seriously spoiled me too. I havent bought anything i can get at ulta from anywhere since i discovered their awesomeness in june. Customer for life right here, lol!

No hun it's not that. I was just answering this other girl. That this is the second theft off my property In 24hrs which is y I very much agree with u but at the same time the first call to ULTA was told to me that everything was going to be replaced or I could get a refund,  not to mention this is the only way I can shop bc of my cars brakes going out while driving and is therefore I it's in the shop and my little girl God love her my own family calling cps on me for several reasons that I proved were in fact not going on bc my case worker came bck over the other day to talk about closing my case. That if I went onto detail y they started the calling In the first place u too would want nothing more to do with them. So with that being said. Oh and the second call to ULTA bc I just wanted to confirm that I will not be home tomorrow when my replacement is being delivered the supervisor hung up on me while in the middle of the call of me explain to him I don't understand y this this and this is going on and y this can't happen when this isn't my first bad experience with ULTA. So plz i just wish u guys could see it from my point of view and also know that I am looking into Video cameras to be put up around my house bc of all of this. So I hope this reply kinda gives u guys a little insight on y I did what I did and y I say what what I say about Sephora. Oh and this is one of the main reasons y I don't post anything that I just went through for basically the whole world to judge either good or bad.  Bc I do not like or appreciate when I get down played bc of how I handled the situation but bc no one knows even half the stress I've been going through but to be looking forward to this one particular order after everything I've been having to deal with. The mounds of money I keep having to shell out.  Just isn't worth it. But this is and will be the last time I ever post anything I'm going thought from here on out. Ty for everyone's advice and thoughts but I thought and agree on a little of the same but no one knows what anyone is going through at the time of something that's exciting to me was suppose to be the highlight of my week. I wonder if the 40% off Body Shop includes gift sets? I don't see that as an exclusion, but I don't see the fine print for the *** mark either. Been eyeing the Pinita Colada set (which is a great deal on its own) after getting that sample in one of the recent bags. It smells so good...good enough for me to overlook the fact that I hate lotions in tubs 😄

I was The same way about lotions in tubs. My cuz gave me Body Shop lotion, and I hung onto it for 3/4 Of a year. I realized, gee, it’ll be Christmas again soon, so I tried It, and I’ve been hooked on it since. I love Blueberry, but my favorite is now raspberry. The Body Shop’s scents are amazing!! 😍 Plus, the lotions are so rich, and non-greasy. Ahh! Love!!

Bodyshop lotions or BBW lotion?

I'm a die hard BBW lotion user, and have been for 20+ years (wow, has it really been that long?!). I don't consider myself to have dry skin at all, but I do get a few drier spots, especially in winter, and BBW lotion has been sufficient to keep those at bay...I can typically get 24 hours out of a lotion application without feeling dry or itchy. Every now and again I'll have to touch up a spot once during the day, but I usually assume I just missed that spot or didn't get enough on it the first time.

Up until the last couple of months, I've pretty much ignored all the other lotions I had simply because I know BBW works and I have quite a stash I need to work through, but recently I've been trying others just to see if there's anything better. The Body Shop is the only one I've found that matches BBW in lasting power...I can go all day without the need to touch up any dry spots. (Others I've tried lately: Grace Cole and Sanctuary Spa are resounding NOs)

I hate tubs, and that will stop me from moving over to The Body Shop full time, but I adore this Pinita Colada scent, and will try some of their other scents from time to time when I can find a deal on it. 

So, in short (because I can blather on all day lol): BBW = TBS in function for me...the only real drawback is the tub packaging. ☺️

As quickly as most gwp's have been disappearing lately, I'm shocked this one has lasted for days now. Ulta either had way more stock of this one than any other, or folks have stopped shopping for now in anticipation of whatever may come this weekend 😄

@RGbrown pretty sure this went out of stock for a few days because I didn’t see them under gifts with purchase(checked everyday)... I think they probably had more of them that’s why they’re back on the site...

it was only on the GWP page on the day it came out. After midnight that night it dropped off the page, but stayed available even though it was hidden. Which is why I never took it off the spreadsheet 😉
