Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

The Glow $70 variety beauty bag did NOT come with the deluxe mini bottle of Voce Vita instead I got the tiniest spray vile smaller than most in Born in Roma which I love that scent but seriously? How many of you didn't get the mini perfume bottle? I also got proactive green tea moisturizer that sucks instead of the cleanser which I actually use. The only full size thing I got were the wipes which I don't know if I will be allergic to or not. 😔

that sucks. 😪 I'll have to wait til next week to find out the contents of my purple bag, but the silver bag was as advertised, except the OUAI sample was for thick hair, and the cosrx was the snail gel cleanser. 

the dry shampoo 'mystery gift' was also as pictured, except did not have the batiste one. oh well. lol. 😋

Yep, happened to me too. I picked that one specifically for the mini deluxe size perfume and it was not in my bag. My bag only came with 20 samples not the advertised 23 and they were all random.

Not Ulta GWP-related, but might be noteworthy, as there have been some Dyson discussions here in the past. Saw this on Reddit: all Dyson hair appliances on BestBuy.com appear to be 20% off for Best Buy rewards members! Must be logged in.

@RGbrown @ohheyitscindyk @itscarin A couple of random questions, if I may… Those $10 off $40 prestige coupons that Ulta usually sends out on Black Friday, do they normally exclude Black Friday deals?

Also, those $10 IT brushes, I believe they’ve been offered before, does anyone recall how quickly they sell out? In other words, hot items or not so much?

I’m debating whether to place my order early in the week or around BF. Thank you! 😊

@RGbrown @ohheyitscindyk @itscarin Thank you, beauties! That’s what I thought, too. While sometimes prestige coupons have worked for me on deal items they technically shouldn’t, might not be worth the risk to wait to find out.

@civ2ru I think ohheyitscindyk and rgbrown already gave you the right answers.  Coupons typically don't apply to special deals at ulta.  For example, the "hot buys" during their 21 days events, and probably won't apply to any similar "door buster" deals.  

I can't comment on the IT brushes.  I don't own any and never really looked into them.

Considering the current prestige coupon doesn't work on the Early Black Friday deals, I'd go into it with the assumption that anything we might get next week won't work on the BF Deals 😐

I've seen a decent amount of chatter about the IT brushes on Reddit...snagging anything you want early in the week might not be a terrible idea.

Some beauty questions but mostly surveys of shopping habits, pandemic changes to shopping habits and the like. It’s not quite what I thought it would be but it’s interesting.

@SportyGirly125 I think it’s more about age/gender/race/income parameters than anything, at least for right now. You’re not missing much at the moment, it’s nothing like BIC as of yet. It seems more about market research than a beauty community. There’s weekly drawings for participating in the activities. There is a discussion board but it currently only has about 500 posts.
