Ulta points refresher (because yes, it is that complicated):

Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

Each multiplier has a base so the ex below to get the Total x multiplier of points would be:

2x(0 base, 2x)

4x (1 base, 3x)

5x)1 base, 4x)

+.25 or .50 if youre Plat or Diamond? WHich would be 9.5x the gross total of what you spend? Gah, my brain hurts!! 😞

(4x = 1 base + 3 bonus, and 2x = 1 base + 1 bonus. When adding more than one multiplier, the base only counts once, so you have to take the extra base point(s) back out. Your total is 1 base + 3 bonus + 1 bonus, plus your 0.5)

I'm not seeing *anything* marked as a Platinum Perk, nor do I see any Platinum gwps. Maybe Ulta is trying to hide them to keep folks from jumping the gun? Maybe the full site will update with a Platinum link shortly, but so far, the app is barren 😢

Did everyone get the Anastasia multiplier?? I don't see it on my Rewards page, nor did I get an email (but I hardly get emails anymore, so not a shocker. 😔) I got the Coach and a general multiplier. It wouldn't be a big deal, but I'm getting the Norvina palette for my little sister's B-day and I'd like to get the points.

@magda124 I got the Anastasia, but I also recently bought an ABH product, which seems to be a factor in who gets which multipliers. Have you purchased anything from ABH in Ulta?

Yeah, I've gotten Brow Whiz pencils and Dip Brow. 🤔 I'm going to pre-pester them today and ensure they can manually add the points, so I can be sure it behooves me to buy it tomorrow during Plat Perk Day. 😊

Not sure if it was targeted, but I finally started getting my emails and multipliers again last week. I had to make multiple calls to customer service before they sent my account issues up to "subscription services." it then took another week or so before everything was back to normal. If you are still missing emails, you might want to pester customer service about it again. Also if you are missing three multiplier, they can manually add the points for your purchase. Hope that is helpful, although I understand what a pain all that is to do.

It certainly is a pain, but at least we have that option, I guess. I just switched my email in my account since it seems it did the trick for many. We'll see what happens tomorrow!! 🤞

Just spoke with customer service. They said that because the first Monday fell on the 1st, they’re delaying the Platinum Perk day until tomorrow. Not sure why this would be the case, but I’ll stop refreshing my cart now!

In case anyone is trying to figure out multipliers, my multiplier finally changed since my previous ONE, a fragrance multiplier, expired last night.  I have the newCoach multiplier. I never buy fragrance from Ulta.

@Imightneedthis That's awesome! I use the app to test codes then buy through Ebates & if it's been used I get a hard "No" on the app along with a message saying the code has been used.
