Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

Oohhh, digging on the candle set...way better than the wine glass or tumbler sets from years past, at least in terms of usefulness to me. I hope they're decent candles!

@RGbrown I was looking at the candles too & briefly considered a bottle of the Ariana Grande Cloud since I'd just smelled the sample in the mailer. (Sooo subversive with a cotton candy top note leading straight into musk & oak moss.) Thanks for posting these @ohheyitscindyk !

@RGbrown Exactly, it's so bizarre that it's interesting to me from a perfumery standpoint. I'm not seeing many reviews from "noses" in the Fragrantica reviews for it, but I imagine a LOT of those who buy it for the cotton candy top note after smelling straight from the bottle are going to be surprised when they smell like a musky campfire a few hours later. :-))

Hi everyone! I have a question.  If I use an Ulta gift card to pay for a purchase, does that count towards my spending for the year?  For example, if I use a $50 gift card, will that $50 go towards my spending for platinum status or is it based on what is spent with cash/debit/credit?  I hope this makes sense...Ulta still confuses me sometimes lol.  Thanks!

A gift card is just another form of payment; using one to pay still counts towards your spending just like cash or a cc 😃

Buying a GC doesn't count toward your spending, but paying for items with a GC does.

Yes, that would be sweet, but I'm sure that's a double-dip that'll never happen. Points when you buy the card *and* points when you spend it? Heck yeah! 😂

I'm actually quite content buying cards at a discount. RetailMeNot sells them for usually 7-8% off, and they are quite reliable. Never plan to hold a card for long, but they have a guarantee (100 days, iirc); I've never had to use it though 👍

Has anybody ordered any of these Capri candles and actually gotten the whole candle, top and bottom? ( @itscarin, I think I saw some these in an order you posted?) I ordered the black one and got just the top. Contacted CS, they sent me a new one, and today I opened the box to find...another top. No candle. 🙄 Just curious if this "the warehouse doesn't know it's a two piece item" problem permeates all the cut glass candles.

(I ordered two other of their regular blue-jar candles and they were fine...well, one was shattered, but I got all the pieces 😂)
