Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

Another one I didn’t get. I just tweeted them. This is getting crazy. Outside of the 5 or 10X points for everyone I haven’t received targeted offers since Too Faced. I wonder why I’m not getting them.

@Feebee1115  There are a lot of us in your situation.  I don't get it; you won't get a straight answer either.  I've called and emailed numerous times since early September when I stopped getting all multipliers, emails, and regular mail.  I've heard the percentage offs are random, if I want to receive brand specific multipliers to tell the cashier at the store the next time I go there, etc.  I finally got my first general multiplier, but no brand specific ones, this week.

@Ispend2much6 It sucks that you have to actually tell them to add multipliers. I'm still gobsmacked they can't get it together and troubleshoot the simple issues so many of you have been having since what seems to be from around the time they introduced Diamond. It's not like they're brand new & trying to figure out how to handle growth.

@NatureGirlSD  Maybe the growth was quicker than anticipated and they can't keep up with it.  It still seems a little sketch to me.  I even asked if my account was flagged for a reason, and they said no.

@Ispend2much6 oh geez 😢. Just seems like a strange system. I actually shop there quite a bit. Guess I will cross my fingers for the next one.

@Feebee1115 I know, I hate missing out on multipliers. FWIW, they appear to be generated by relatively recent previous purchases. Having said that, I've been surprised a few times by multipliers for a brand that I've had a product from sitting in my favorites and/or cart for a while without having bought them recently. I also once got one for NYX, though I'd never purchased anything from them.

@NatureGirlSD I haven't really noticed a pattern, either. But I definitely haven't gotten every multiplier, though at the moment, I can't remember which ones I haven't gotten. I have noticed that I've gotten some multipliers from brands that I've never purchased from before.

@NatureGirlSD unfortunately I I'm not that astute and haven't noticed a pattern. I seem to receive all the multipliers.  

I got the 100 points for a $25 purchase which I won't be using. I also got the tarte multiplier last night. I don't buy a ton of tarte through Ulta but I definitely picked up two shape tapes when they were 50% off. 

Everyone gets the fragrance crush multiplier every month automatically. 

I also got the bath multiplier which is why I went on the Capri blue spree, even though I generally don't buy many bath products .I went to Greece last year and stocked up on korres shower gels which I'm still working through. 😂

I don't think I've ever seen a multiplier I wanted but didnt get.

So I made my order and earned 477 points. Does that seem like the right amount? I had the 100 xtra bonus points, the Tree Hut scrubs and the Kenra blow dry lotion were 10X, and the Tree Hut had another 5X. And I'm Diamond, so 1.5X points on other stuff, right?. 🤔

Did you use a 20% (or any coupon)?

Assuming no q and that you didn't pay with points, here are the numbers I calculate:

Tree Hut (14.5x on $11.99) 174

Kenra (10.5x on $22) 231

D&G + Too Faced (1.5x on $45) 67

Total 472, plus the 100pt bonus

If you used a q or paid a portion with points, totals would go down. If you had used the 100pt offer already, it wouldn't post again. There are too many unknowns on my end to give you a yea or nay as to correctness, but this should help get you in the ball park 🙂
