Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

So, my order #1 from 10x/5x day has arrived. Very speedy! I picked up the GWP sampler #1 with this one. Only one substitution: they swapped Kopari scrub with Lancôme face mask. While I do wish they’d have left out Bondi Sands self-tanning foam instead, no terrible tragedy has occurred. 😉

 

Look how tiny that Neutrogena wipe is, compared to the promo shot! 

Ahem, anyone has tips on applying “dark” self-tanning foam onto light skin for natural-looking results? 😂

What’s everyone getting that’s 10x points?  

I have wanted to pick up a new Nars foundation but I had such a hard time getting matched last time and I forgot what color I was so I can’t commit to any Nars foundation now. 

I guess I could/should get new concealers since it’s been awhile for me. 

ove thought about picking up stuff from Sunday Riley but I do have a new bottle of good genes and I still have about 5 different moisturizers I should be using before I buy something else. 

I guess nothing is grabbing me as really exciting. I do have some non 10x point things I’d like to get but not getting 10x points is holding me back from pulling the trigger!

@itscarin  I got a few ulta candles that were half off (wanted some of the fall ones when they were half off before, but the gwp I wanted sold out, and I wanted to save for 10x pts day), this time it was the summer ones that were on secret clearance...the beachside bonfire one had sounded the best so I got 2 of those, and 2 others, bc I like the designs, and they all coordinate....and a hempz lip balm trio, that was also half off.  had a $10 off $40 cpn to use also.

then today, I was going to get 3 of the clinique my happy perfumes to get the free face spray...but since ulta is nice and doesnt let you use more than 1 gift card, and the other card I tried to use for the remaining amount, wouldnt work for some reason, so I could only get 1 of them. 😩 then I got this philosophy perfume sampler to pick up.

I keep swearing off buying candles online because at least half come in broken *every*single*time*, but if I had seen the half off ones, I would have jumped anyways with the multiplier. Assuming it's the same as last year's, Sparkling Clementine is the bomb! Ah well, it's probably for the best (she says while adding to cart in case an interesting gwp/deal pops up later 😅)

@RGbrown  aaah, I'm sorry!!! 😩  I was going to post earlier, but am kinda greedy lol and wasnt sure if they were gonna sell out, if I wanted to get more...and the only reason I saw them is bc there was one on my 'saved for later' list, bc I already looked in the sale section, to try to find things that were on sale AND 10x pts. and was also preoccupied, trying to get my cards to work lol.

I didnt get the clementine one, bc I'm not a big citrus person...but the pomegranate petals sounded nice, and the sunset apricot, although reviews say it doesnt have much of a smell, but worth a try, since I like the designs, and they coordinate. lol.

I was also gonna get one of those ulta sampler kits that were half off that you got, but they were sold out by the time I went back to check today (didnt know they were 10 pts., and couldnt check before bc the pts werent showing up in cart for a while...). so rest assured, I've been thoroughly punished!!! lol. 😅😩

Eh, no worries at all, I totally understand and am certainly not mad 😋 

I was a bit surprised when the Conscious kit gave me 10x; points weren't showing when I ordered it and it wasn't even listed with the Ulta stuff since they've labeled "Beauty Finds by Ulta" as a separate brand...I just assumed I'd wind up with 5x on it, but getting 10x was a nice bonus. I probably would have ordered more after seeing that if it hadn't gone oos.

@itscarin  I got only things that were practical,  so I got 2 hair detanglers to compare, Dermalogica skin mist for my pores and body oil. Too bad Babo is only 5x pts but I do love that bag and lip sunscreen. I almost got the UD Prince face brush but I dont need brushes since  I got the Tarte Maneater/Sonia G sets. Too bad I missed out on the Tula stack 😞  All for a modest 564pts. I just signed up for Boxycharm for 1/2 off and went a little crazy in the popup shop. So, will definitely not be buying until Sephora's next sale.

Haven't pulled the trigger yet but I believe I will be getting the Bumble and Bumble Thickening Shampoo and Living Proof Lightweight conditioner, both suggested to alleviate postpartum hair loss a little bit. My hair has been falling out in clumps (apparently peaks is between 4-6 months postpartum) and I've been super sad. 😔 I didn't have much to spare anyway lol. Ah well... good thing the little fluffernutter is cute!

@magda124 @Congratulations on the new baby!  Post partum is hell. My hair fell out too, all around my hair line so it looked like I had a receding hairline for a little bit. And then it started to grow back and all the little hairs stood straight up and looked crazy. Idk if anything speeds the hair regrowth along. Hang in there — it will go back just as quick as it fell out. I don’t think I showered for the first few months post partum anyway because I was so busy and stressed trying to keep a tiny human alive. Sigh. Babies are hard!  Congratulations again though!

@itscarin Aw, thank you! 💜 Yeah, it's starting to come back thank goodness... I have mini fine little mohawks I need to tame already, but it'll take a while to get back to normal I think so in the meantime want to look thicker hehe. I def don't wash my hair as often as I used to with baby boy and I also have a 4-year old mini me trying on my makeup despite getting constantly shooed away (her current fave BH Illusion palette XD). Maybe I'll start her an Ulta account LOL

I mainly stocked up on skincare @itscarin. I repurchased my Murad serums, Kate Somerville serum, Ulta hand soaps in pumpkin spice. I decided to try some drugstore palettes from Essence being the brand gets such good reviews. I also will be trying the Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Waterproof mascara because it gets such good reviews. Beauty Deals BFF recommended the Zoeva line which was 50% off. I purchased an eye brush set and a neutral eyeshadow palette. Forgot to mention that I also purchased more Grande Cosmetics eyebrow serum and eyebrow gel. That stuff really works to grow out my overplucked eyebrows.

@Loretta55  Oh, I'll have to try the Grande eyebrow treatment.  I've only tried a couple of Essence items, but I really like their lipsticks!

I am trying to not buy any more lipsticks @Ispend2much6. My hair stylist could not believe the amount of eyebrow growth during the pandemic. I am rationalizing the purchases of the Essence palettes at only $3.99 each and 5X the points.
