Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

@treestar86 Honestly, that's a great design idea... you'd probably make a few bucks because its just that relatable. Seriously the last time I went into a Sephora I was approached so many times to the point where I felt like I was literally being stalked/watched by the staff. I was browsing some lipsticks and I swear someone came up behind me out of nowhere and started trying to hard-sell them to me. It made me leave way quicker than I usually would have. Probably why I shop online 99% of the time. LOL

@QueenMarceline its been like that at ulta since they first opened here, lol, always stressed me out sooo much. I even dropped something once lol. but the last couple times they mostly left me alone, lol. I was almost offended!! LOL.

and yeah, once I discovered all the gwp's online, I switched to mostly shopping there. 😅

also idk if u saw a couple of the holiday items ulta had, there was a striped cup w/their name on it, which I thought was soooo neat, until I read the reviews that said it was cheap plastic. 😔 would still be nice for water, or to hold brushes or lipgloss!! lol. but it just sold out, I think. 😩

@treestar86 Yes Ulta multipliers are the best. Honestly I didn't see that cup at all I must have missed it and I oddly own wayyyy too many coffee cups, water cups and to-go tumblers/thermos style cups. Maybe it's simply a symptom of living up North, haha!

Thanks! This is a great deal (the e-giftcard). Ended up stacking a bunch of deals. The 20% off worked on a Xmas present I need for someone and for my TooFaced Hangover Primer Spray which was already in my cart getting ready for my prestige coupon haul (LOL). I ended up stacking it with the 5X the points for fragrances on the gift. I initially purchased myself the $100 giftcard (which to be noted the deal is $20 per each $100 giftcard, so you can send as many as you want to yourself and get multiplied future spoils-the $20 gift cards activate after XMAS). I used my $100 gift card on this purchase as well as 3% cash back on Rakuten.

Fantastic way to take advantage! I had someone tell me this was a "weak" deal for "casual" shoppers, but I disagree with that assessment, and I think that someone looking to stretch their 20% power can really do that with this one (if any of their stuff qualifies for this offer, of course). Sounds like you still have your 20% to use as well, ready to pounce on whatever may pop up between now and Xmas, while getting a few necessary things out of the way in the mean time. 😁

Totally agree, it's all about the stacking. I somehow got 2 prestige coupons one in the mail and one online-both will definitely be used. One of them lasts longer (post XMAS) so I will combine it with my smaller $20 gift cards. Does anyone here know if ULTA only allows more than one gift card per purchase?

You can only use one gift card online, unfortunately. But, you can get the $20s merged two ways:

1. go in-store and buy a gift card for the combined amount of your eRewards, then use the eRewards to pay

2. chat with Ulta, have a rep combine them. Maybe don't mention that they are eRewards specifically, just say you would like to combine gc's...I feel like I've seen a person here or there complain about the rep saying they "can't" (more like "won't") combine the rewards.

What's the exp date on your after Xmas q? I haven't gotten the latest catalog coupon, but both my others expire 12/24...had no idea there was something later out there!

I am so sorry, I was mistaken. It unfortunately does expire 12/24. I somehow must have misread it. Thank goodness I double checked so it didn't fall through. If I don't end up using the second one, I will pass it along to someone in the community 🙂

I will double check once I'm back at home where I have the catalog and let you know when it expires. I'll definitely still take the reward and try to take it in store. I have some items in my running cart/wishlist that would be 40-50% off with that $20 gift card. I can simply skip them during the prestige event and strategically pick out what items I can get for even less than the 20% off by waiting to redeem my $20 gift cards until after Christmas on them.
