Ulta points refresher (because yes, it is that complicated):

Item #3 - $108.50 (and is eligible for a certain item/brand 5x multiplier)
* There is also a 5x all purchase multiplier and you are platinum so you get 1.25x

Platinum .25x Earned - 41 (162 * .25 = 40.5, and rounding up)

Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.
Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.
The product id is the number given to the item in the URL. So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number. If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta.
It's not a search, but the direct url to the page.
Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar. It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204 Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.
My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:
(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward. E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward. Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase. Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

Anyone else not see points from purchases on Sunday yet? I placed 2 orders and neither of s showing up in my points history, but my in-store purchase on Monday is there.

You aren’t the only one. I placed two orders on Sunday. They both shipped Monday and my points are nowhere to be seen.
This is a nice one, although I still can’t with the GWP thresholds these days. I imagine it won’t last long.

@WinglessOne IKR. Hey, a question for you as an IT pro, what’s with the endless loop that Sephora BIC often (almost always) goes into, whenever I try to post a new comment (with “reply”) or even “like” another post? Like it’s trying to authenticate and struggles? Sometimes I have to try several times, open new windows, etc. It happens on various devices and in various browsers, being going on forever. Any workarounds? Let us complain about Sephora now! 😂
@civ2ru Ugh, BIC login problems… this has been happening for at least 2 years now, to several people (including me). Report it in the Beauty Insider Community Feedback thread. You’ll see how many of us have also reported login trouble and reauthentication loops, and maybe find some workarounds you can use—but also, your report might uncover another glitch Sephora’s dev folks don’t know about yet. (I don’t know if Sephora has in-house dev or if they contract that work out.)
My consistent major trouble logging into BIC finally stopped in spring or summer this year. But every now and then, I still get a reauth challenge for seemingly no reason, even though my BIC session hasn’t expired (wish I knew exactly how long a session lasts). Sometimes I can just close the reauth popup (don’t fill in & submit) and everything’s fine. If I do re-login via the popup, I sometimes end up stuck in a BIC login loop. And this is all on the website via different browsers and devices; I never visit BIC via Sephora’s app. Heck, I don’t use the app at all unless it’s the only way to get a specific offer.
I don’t know what glitches are causing all this trouble. I’d need admin access to the app Sephora uses to run BIC (Lithium/Khoros, I assume), plus direct contact with developers for reporting and info-sharing. It’s hard to accurately diagnose a web glitch without seeing backend structure. I keep wondering how BIC and the .com site communicate behind the scenes—how both sides of Sephora pass and retain cookie/session data—because I still sometimes get logged out of BIC when I visit any .com page from a BIC page (product tags, for instance), unless I choose incognito mode to visit .com. 😒 Sometimes that BIC logout is persistent (can’t log back in) unless I wait an hour and restart the browser, or login via a different browser. Super annoying.
This is a lot more than I meant to say about BIC’s login issues. 😂 In Sephora’s defense, I’ll say they do at least have a team working on this stuff: sometimes I see devs using test BIC accounts in the wee hours, and we do get periodic updates on glitches in that BIC Feedback thread. I’m sure Ulta also has devs (in-house or 3rd party), but I’m still not convinced any of Ulta’s departments actually talk to one another, which is probably part of their web issues.
