Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

Ugh repeat promos, the Palm and Zebra bags were offered at the beginning of July with an $85 Buy-in. I got the Palm one. I was hoping for a Diamond bag to dump some points like the one that was offered around this time last year plus the 20% off prestige out now. Wishful thinking 🙄

@quetzalina totally, and I remember the Rusk Pure Mix S & C wasn't in the palm bag for at least a few us on this forum who wanted to try it. I think it was either a Redken or more likely a Matrix Biolage sub instead.

So when will the next Perk day be? Is it every month now? They probably recycling bags cuz they didn't make new stuff due to the pandemic.

Yes, there's a Perk Day every month.

There have been plenty of new gwps since the pandemic started, but it's also not completely unusual for Ulta to repeat a gift or two.There were some hair samplers last year that came back I think 3 (or 4? or 5?) times lol. Some just seem to hang around a while.

Im loving how they aren't leaving these perk days literally to the 1st Monday of the month.

Yeah, "first Monday" is getting to be a bad shorthand for tracking them, as Ulta actually seems to schedule promos by week number. While Perk Days originally seemed to fall on the first Monday each month, as years progress, the first Monday doesn't always line up in the same week of the year anymore. Last year, the "October" perk day was Sept 30, so it was predictable that it happens tomorrow to maintain their week-based schedule.

Btw, that makes perfect sense @RGbrown But I do prefer it when Ulta is predictable, it makes it easier to plan purchases.

Kinda drives me nuts that the perk day hasn't actually fallen in the month of October 2 years now because I've an October bday. I'd really love those extra points on my bigger purchase day. Here's hoping November's perk day comes at the end if October.

Here's the $50 buy in gwp from 10x day on the top and the bottom row is the sample pack, which is mostly foils but still pretty impressive for a sample pack. At least they nailed this one. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Only sub was LP, got a weightless mask packet instead of styling cream but I'm happy to get the mask.

That happened to me too! Same replacement. I rather the tube, but I might already have a sample of it from Sephora. One of their styling creams the gray tube one that's a multitasker is pretty good. It's like I never get around to these packets.

@alexalicious I got the same substitution. I’m more likely to use a hair mask over a styling cream though so I’m ok with the sub. I also got the same foil packet.

I totally prefer the mask too! Btw @itscarin I had a reaction to something when I was traveling and got a bumpy skin rash on my hairline and back of my neck. I got recommended a shampoo called Dr Eddie's happy cappy for babies and it seemed to do the trick within a couple of washes. Amazon carries it if you can't get it locally. Apparently it's great on skin for malassezia folliculitis too.

Wow I think think it was fate that i read this today! I've got like the same problem and hairstylist last year said it's like I have baby's caps cradle. I've tried everything and nothing consistently works, but both my parents had it so it genetic but I will try this and hope it helps.
