Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

🤦‍♀️😭💔💸🤬 srsly? 🔴Red dots are missing (I got 3 foils as subs?) 🔵 Blue for sample size grossly misrepresented 🟣 Purple for same brand substitutions, although the Dermalogica one was a foil. Its not right when the buy in is $150, especially when it's advertised as an exclusive perk for platinum and diamond. It's just been ridiculous this year, they used to make a solid attempt at subbing but this isn't it. This was an A+ bag as advertised but a C- in execution. Its missing too many items, majorly down graded product sizes, and most of the brand subs aren't up to the excitement of cult status ones offered IMHO. I know it's a "gift" but the point of these is to entice you to spend $150 and I feel it's a bit of a bait and switch when it fails to come close to the advertised value or representation of items.

that's disappointing, but, I mean...considering that with all of the orders that you've posted here, at least w/the ones I've noticed, these gwp bags are often gotten for significantly less than the "required" spend, so is it really fair to say it's unfair or wasn't worth the specific amount, when you spent significantly less than "required" to get it? 🤔

I know, I said I was gonna pass, and then had a cart ready maybe 5 minutes later 😂

Lotsa subs. One-for-one, so total count was correct, and except for one packet for a DS, most of them are pretty comparable. As always, some of the missing items are things I actually wanted, but for the most part, I'm happy with how the subs were handled.

@RGbrown Wow, our bags are actually fairly different, interesting. You got way better subs than I did. I wasn't too happy with mine, I was missing nearly everything I wanted but grateful to get the Perricone MD at least. I love Good Genes, but it was still listed as a 1oz when I placed my order.

Y'all are point savvy here. If I want to redeem points in store on beauty services (a haircut for example), can I combine the cost with merchandise to maximize my point redemption? Want to hit the $125 mark for 2000 point redemption. Can't find any guidance on this on the ulta website.

Hi!  I hope you all can help me make a good decision.  I just bought the Carolina Herrera Bad Boy Eau De Toilette two days ago.  Do you think I would get blacklisted if I returned the one I just got and then repurchase for the 10X points.  That is over 700 points (I am diamond so it would be even more).  But I have heard all the terrible stories about people getting blacklisted for too many returns?  I return stuff every once in awhile, but certainly not excessively.  Just thought it would be a good idea to ask my Ulta friends!!

@khott1101 I want to say you should be okay with doing that, esp if you don't make that many returns in general. someone on reddit said they've had success chatting with cs to adjust their points for the promotion rather than doing the repurchase/return if you want to try, the worst they'll say is no and suggest you purchase and return the original. That's what they've told me in the past when I've tried to cancel an order, when I receive it just return the whole thing lol
