Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

I love that they're doing a $50 buy-in instead of a ridiculous $150, or $175 buy-in.  I still didn't go HAM at ulta.  I almost bought 2 mac eyeliners I'm running out of, but then I felt so slighted because they were only 5x, so I didn't get them.  XD  I only purchased things that were 10x.  We'll see if I feel compelled to go back in for more at some point.  LOL

If I may share a few observations/tips... Today’s Diamond/Platinum appreciation day also comes with free shipping of any order. So unless you’re Diamond looking to shoot for the $50 GWP, it may make sense to split a larger order into $15-25 increments for non-prestige brands. That way, you’re able to use multiple $3.50 off $15 coupons. And perhaps score multiple GWP foundation samplers and sample packs too.

Also, if you recently bought the $14.99 ULTA Refresh, Renew and Replenish turquoise bag during 21 Days, today is a great day to redeem that $5 off $25 coupon from it. The biggest % discount is on the Elemis superfood facial wash: makes it 20% off, plus 10x points and shipped free. You could also redeem on the Tula primer, since it’s 12x today. On some of the other included products, the coupon isn’t as valuable %wise.

If anyone is looking to go the way of multiple orders (no judgment...I've done it many times 😋), just be aware that Ulta allows 6 orders per day (though I've also personally encountered 5 once or twice). After that, you'll get an error along the lines of "payment issue, try again". Changing your payment won't help. New account, same address won't help either; my sis and I live together, and we're limited to 6 total, not 6 each.

Your account will be released automatically after 24ish hours; there's no need to worry or to contact CS.

I just went heavy on this. Bought a few backups and things I know I'll use up and it pretty much ends up being 50% off with the points after. This is the most inclusive 10x they've done in years tbh. Rakuten is only 2% cash back but if you have Chase, shop through your credit card and you can get 3x the points.

I didn't see it go oos and it looks like the pulled a couple of the other fun gwps as well, Ariana Grande faux neon light, so I'm hoping that's just for today. 🤔😍 Best 10x day I can remember. I feel like it was more drugstore brand heavy in the past. The 10x palette day is usually really good too, I hope to see that again in late fall. @quspork @greeneyedgirl107  I mentioned here before how they could still have it sometime.  I just thought it might be later, around the holidays.  so, I totally called it...lol. 😜  sadly I'm all spent, but not that bummed cuz the things I bought on sale, coupon, or w/a good gwp were more valuable to me than buying a bunch of stuff just cuz of the points.  that's what I have to remind myself, saving money upfront is always better than spending more just to get more later.  it helps keep things in perspective and when there is a good deal or gwp I really want, it helps me feel better to take advantage of it and just enjoy it, rather than always waiting or wondering for *more* points.

@treestar86 Good for you for calling it!  Of course this is such an inclusive one that it really threw me for a loop.  I got home almost at 7pm tonight and have been just a little too tired to care that I kinda got screwed.  I was expecting individual products to be 10x, so I figured it'd be really hit or miss.  Well....I just ordered 10 Paul Mitchell Hot off the Press flat iron sprays on Friday that arrived today.  AND, I accumulated 8 or so Living Proof No Frizz Humidity Shield sprays that I bought with $10 off $40 coupons.  So of course the LP and PM lines were multiplied.  If only I'd waited!

I agree with you that I'd much rather save money upfront than down the road - but the one exception I make is for the 10x points multiplier.  Oh well.  It's been such a crazy year beauty-wise.  I'm not shy about making returns, but I know returning like 10 bottles of something would put me on TRE radar!

@greeneyedgirl107  yes, it's hard to plan and take advantage of these when we don't know when they're gonna happen.  I guess that's why everyone was upset when it didn't happen before, as it always did.  and of course I hadn't even been on here in days (trying to avoid more shopping, lol), so I had no idea til I saw the email.  if I knew when it was gonna happen I could have saved my money lol. but, I'm happy w/the things I got.  grr, that's a bummer about your items.  seems they should have some kind of pt. adjustment, for things like that.  I've had that happen a couple times, where there was a gwp or 10% cash back the day after I ordered something!!  I guess that's just the risk...I even ordered the same thing again just to get the gwp, thinking I'd just return the other one...then I remembered that they supposedly just throw everything away, and I didn't want my poor, perfectly good items to be wasted. 😢

@treestar86 One contributing factor was that I was running low on my stash of hair products.  I like to stock up so I never have a chance of running out, or if the product gets changed or discontinued.  So I felt like I just had to re-stock.  Plus, the year is coming toward a close and I was afraid that if I didn't act soon, I might miss out on sales in the future since there wasn't much time left.  I wanted to try to reach Platinum so my points didn't have a change of expiring.  Some times this reminds me of a chess match!
