Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

@quspork @greeneyedgirl107  I mentioned here before how they could still have it sometime.  I just thought it might be later, around the holidays.  so, I totally called it...lol. 😜  sadly I'm all spent, but not that bummed cuz the things I bought on sale, coupon, or w/a good gwp were more valuable to me than buying a bunch of stuff just cuz of the points.  that's what I have to remind myself, saving money upfront is always better than spending more just to get more later.  it helps keep things in perspective and when there is a good deal or gwp I really want, it helps me feel better to take advantage of it and just enjoy it, rather than always waiting or wondering for *more* points.

@treestar86 Good for you for calling it!  Of course this is such an inclusive one that it really threw me for a loop.  I got home almost at 7pm tonight and have been just a little too tired to care that I kinda got screwed.  I was expecting individual products to be 10x, so I figured it'd be really hit or miss.  Well....I just ordered 10 Paul Mitchell Hot off the Press flat iron sprays on Friday that arrived today.  AND, I accumulated 8 or so Living Proof No Frizz Humidity Shield sprays that I bought with $10 off $40 coupons.  So of course the LP and PM lines were multiplied.  If only I'd waited!

I agree with you that I'd much rather save money upfront than down the road - but the one exception I make is for the 10x points multiplier.  Oh well.  It's been such a crazy year beauty-wise.  I'm not shy about making returns, but I know returning like 10 bottles of something would put me on TRE radar!

@greeneyedgirl107  yes, it's hard to plan and take advantage of these when we don't know when they're gonna happen.  I guess that's why everyone was upset when it didn't happen before, as it always did.  and of course I hadn't even been on here in days (trying to avoid more shopping, lol), so I had no idea til I saw the email.  if I knew when it was gonna happen I could have saved my money lol. but, I'm happy w/the things I got.  grr, that's a bummer about your items.  seems they should have some kind of pt. adjustment, for things like that.  I've had that happen a couple times, where there was a gwp or 10% cash back the day after I ordered something!!  I guess that's just the risk...I even ordered the same thing again just to get the gwp, thinking I'd just return the other one...then I remembered that they supposedly just throw everything away, and I didn't want my poor, perfectly good items to be wasted. 😢

@treestar86 One contributing factor was that I was running low on my stash of hair products.  I like to stock up so I never have a chance of running out, or if the product gets changed or discontinued.  So I felt like I just had to re-stock.  Plus, the year is coming toward a close and I was afraid that if I didn't act soon, I might miss out on sales in the future since there wasn't much time left.  I wanted to try to reach Platinum so my points didn't have a change of expiring.  Some times this reminds me of a chess match!

@quspork Yeah - I really thought they weren't doing it this year.  I wonder what the items will be.  I just stocked up on a couple of faves, so it'll be interesting to see if they are part of the promo or not.  AND, I'm curious to see what the stock will be for items once I get home from work tomorrow.  My phone is a dinosaur so I can't do much of anything on it.

@greeneyedgirl107  Black Opium is the only one that really interests me.  I've seen that on there like every time I think.  Tom Ford was also on there the first year he arrived.  I would've liked to see more perfumes there, as I think that's the only thing really worth getting for 10x pts. (or any other high-priced items)  everything else is pretty much 50% off at some point, including many of those items that were just 50% off on the 21 days of beauty, lol...so most of that stuff you can get a better deal other times.

@treestar86 Yes, I agree that more fragrances 10x off would be perfect.  I just realized that I they have my Estee Lauder Pleasures for 10x, but I still have about 25% left, and it lasts me a long time.  I think I'll hold off.

@greeneyedgirl107  that's great!  I just got Lancome Idole when it was 50% off, since they have perfumes on sale sometimes, but usually never 50% off, unless maybe it's on clearance.  but I think (and hope) they'll be having more on sale for the holidays, and more pts., I hope. and the gift sets!!  🤗
