Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

Funnily enough, I swore I'd never buy these eye gels. I like them fine, but get soooooo many in gwps, and really don't care enough to actually spend money on them. And yet, here I am with some on the way lol. Way to shake me down, Ulta!

hahaha @RGbrown ...ulta has a way of doing that.  😉  just like I keep saying ok, I'm done buying...and then I get 2 of the skincare gifts cuz they're still around, and I always miss out on everything else while trying to figure out what to get, or if I even want it, lol. 😛

My thoughts exactly @RGbrown! Total impulse buy, but it justified my wanting to try a couple of clearance items and a restock. I also got this 100 bonus points offer just now, so I couldn't resist.

So this is interesting... I got this in today’s email:

I was thinking it was just a repeat of the same offer I had already redeemed with an earlier order this week... Still, I clicked to activate it. And when I proceeded as if placing an order, the bonus 200 showed up again on the checkout page? I’ll double-check with customer service if this is indeed a new offer.

Those of you who had placed orders earlier this week, see if you got another bonus point offer in the email, too!

Darn it, and here I was thinking I’ll wait with my next order until next week or so... 

The gist is this: if you receive an email today with a bonus points offer, one that looks like a duplicate of a bonus points offer you’ve already redeemed this week, it might be a whole new offer of the same kind. For whatever it’s worth!

Edit: As a side note, I noticed a slight and very recent price increase on many IT products. $0.50 here, $1 there, even $2. Must be feeling popular.

This afternoon I received the 30 Piece Skincare Sampler (with $70 skincare purchase from last week) and thought I’d post what my particular sampler contained - especially since this GWP is available once again.

It’s pretty much the same assortment that @alexalicious got, except I didn’t get a Becca primer, did get an Ulta mask (only Strawberries & Champagne instead of Oxygen), and got a Curel lotion and cream duo. I can live with all the substitutions; the most disappointing is perhaps The Route The Girlfriend Skin-Loving Glow Primer Mini (0.27 oz) replaced with a 0.07 oz packet. Considering this item is worth $14.5, I wasn’t thrilled to get downgraded there.

The bag also included a 30% coupon for skin services, just like @alexalicious reported, but it’s notable that the expiration date on that coupon is 2/1/20. So if you get this bag with an order this week and you’re interested in the skin services, hope the package doesn’t take too long to get to you. Or maybe go ahead and book your reservation now?

Lastly... Even after I’ve laid out all the goodies on the counter, I had a little bit of a “I spent $70 to get this?” aftertaste... Just wasn’t as wowed with it as I thought I’d be. But as I was able to stack some other discounts and GWPs on this order overall, the skincare bag itself was just a cherry on top. So I can’t complain.

Check your snail mail! I received a 20% off today like @writtenonpaiges mentioned a few days ago. I'm not seeing an expiration date on this one but the postal delivery date is supposed to be 1/15-1/17. This might be good timing for those excited for one of those pricy brands on sale today or those who were wondering when that next 20% was coming. @RachelMartin10
