Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

Pureology and IGK are included in that multiplier from a few days ago if you got it. IGK also has two gwps with $35 IGK purchase. Not a bad stack with 50% off deal today and new $50 gwp bag.

If you have a 20% off you can get the bag for $40. The coupon does not stack with the beauty steals. This was a great gwp bag for me, lots of products for colored/highlighted hair. I grabbed this super early this morning and my order only just processed now. Also I've noticed the smaller LP gwp go in and oos a couple of times, so it might be worth checking back later if something is OOS. Ebates is 4% right now, but if you are only grabbing beauty steals and not using a 20% coupon, Ibotta has a better rate with 7% back.

I hope so (if they're not hair stuff), since I missed the hempz one and have been wanting to get some lano stuff that's on sale til sun., so I was hoping there'd be another beauty break, although they seem to be mainly mon-wed, and not the end of the week...but I was wondering if they'd have more of them since it's the holiday season, and they seem to have more lately so...here's hoping. haha. 🙂

@RGbrown  @niki172  After swatching all 6 lipsticks at the MAC store, I walked out with those 2. 😂 [EDIT: No wait, I bought the fuchsia one instead of the red one.] The blue (Asterisk) and silver ones aren’t nearly as creamy as the others. Those 2 kinda remind me of the first generation PMG BlitzTrances, though a touch creamier and less opaque; they require some building up. The other shades feel more like a typical MAC Satin. I could barely feel the glitter in them on my hand. 

A MAC SA tapped Asterisk on the center of the purple matte I was already wearing (NARS Soul Train):

@RGbrown  I tried to watch as many YouTube videos as I could (not much out there) before I selected what I wanted. The lippies look creamy, and of the 3 videos that had audio no one complained about them being dry or gritty. They looked pretty smooth on the lips. Worst case scenario they just became part of my "aren't these gorgeous don't touch" collection :D.

I'm trying to avoid adding to my "gorgeous packaging, but can't stand the product" collection...I have three LE MACs in it already, that I kept as a lesson to pay better attention before buying more LE MACs 🤣

@RGbrown  I can give you real life feedback tomorrow—er, later today, after I visit my local standalone MAC store and/or the Ulta right up the street. That Ulta store doesn’t have the blue bullet shade in stock, but I bet the MAC store does. I mean, do I need another blue lipstick? Nnnnnoooooo, but I still need to see this one in person and try to talk myself out of buying it. 😄

@WinglessOne sometimes I really miss working on the mag mile. That Ulta is great and a block and a half from my old office. The nearby mecca Sephora was close as well. Probably best for my wallet, but the store quality and selection in those shops is excellent.

@sprocketta  It’s definitely the most dangerous 2-3 block stretch of Chicago for makeup fans. I somehow managed to stay out of Nordstrom and Sephora tonight. 😂
